Volume 2: Gamma-17, Chapter 2.13
The Deadliest Lifeform in the Universe Loves Me
From there, we decided to call another truce, so the question game took a much less serious turn. We started asking each other regular questions—favorite colors, favorite foods, ideal vacation, best superpowers, three genie wishes, etcetera. It was weird how normal Eve could be—as though she really was human. I learned she almost seemed like mix of multiple personalities; innocent and childlike, mature and seductive, easily flustered and frustrated, playful and teasing, emotional and introspective, and of course frighteningly intelligent. What was really wild was how quickly she could snap from one mood to the next, and while for a normal person I would say they were bipolar or even had some multiple personality disorder, for Eve they all blended together as a collective—connected through her hivemind consciousness. I wondered if it was because she had created her persona through separate parts of whatever personality she deemed to fit into herself as a whole, or if it was the result of consuming multiple humans with their own minds and personalities they ended up all meshed together. Whatever the reason, I didn't want to delve too deep into the explanation; as Eve said quite plainly, I probably never would be able to fully understand the Predazoans.
After we finished eating and I was tired of the question game, I figured we could call it an early night and go our separate ways.
"Separate ways?" Eve asked, her head cocked to the side as though I'd spoken a foreign language.
"Well yeah, I was just gonna head back to my quarters." I shrugged, "Figured you could head back to wherever you're staying. Where are you staying?"
Eve's face quirked up in a little grin, "Oh darling, you're so funny." She said, then grabbed my arm and led me through The Radiance—our escort trailing behind us as always.
Eve ignored me when I asked her where she was taking me, leading me along this way and that, turning us down the hallways with surprising focus. Eventually, we made it back to my quarters. Not understanding why she wanted to escort me back home, I decided to just let it go, "Alright, well thanks for taking me back home. I'll see you tomorrow for the mission briefing—"
Eve ignored me and turned to our escort, "We'll be retiring for the evening, thank you for all your hard work today." She said pleasantly.
"Eve what the fu—" I started, but Eve pushed me inside and shut the door behind us in one swift motion.
Eve let go of my arm and danced a little as she looked around my quarters, inspecting every little detail and making comments to herself. Suddenly, the pieces all finally locked together as I realized what was going on, "Oh you've got to be kidding me; you think you're going to be staying here with me?"
Eve turned back to me, grinning from ear to ear, "Obviously, or did you think I'd go back to the containment cell?"
I threw my hands out in exasperation, "Does mission command know?" I demanded.
"Of course; while walking freely aboard The Radiance, I'm to always have an escort, unless I retire to my—our quarters, in which case there'll be a couple guards on duty just outside." Eve explained, smiling all the while, "I'd insisted on at least that much privacy, and they agreed being with my handler would be enough direct security."
I pinched the bridge of my nose with two fingers and shut my eyes tight, "And I assume I have no say in the matter."
Even with my eyes closed, I could hear the mischievous smile in her voice, "Naturally."
I looked around my quarters; at least it was rather spacious. I had a private bath, a den with a couch and tv, a small study area, a little kitchenette mostly just for snacks, and a rather roomy bedroom—but with just the queen-sized bed; I figured Eve would be fine with that—I, however, wasn't.
"Need to do a little decorating—doesn't look like you've lived here much." Eve was muttering to herself as she poked around the apartment.
"Yeah, before I went down to Entana, I mostly stayed in the containment cell with you, remember? I've hardly even been here." I confirmed.
Eve stopped her little tour and turned back to me, a sad smile on her face, "Of course I remember." She walked over to me and slowly pressed herself against me, then wrapped her arms around me in a gentle embrace, "You never wanted me to be alone. Thank you for that, Adam." Her voice was gentle and sincere, and she looked up from my chest to stare into my eyes, "I love you." She said softly sweet.
I just stood there awkwardly with my arms to my sides as she held me, staring up at me, waiting for my response with a hopeful expression. I just shook my head as I tried to step back, "You can have the bed. I'll take the couch."
I didn't like the idea of getting kicked out of my bed, but I figured if I took the bed, that would be one more reason for her to sneak under the covers with me at night. The couch was comfortable and spacious, but I figured it would be less likely for her to try to sleep there with me—whatever I could do to add in some distance.
She let me go when I stepped back, her expression turning coy, "You can share the bed with me you know." She ran her hands along her curves—down her large breasts, tight waist, and wide enticing hips, "Imagine what all you could do to me on it."
I flicked her forehead, causing her to flinch away with a surprised look on her face, "Down girl."
"Hey!" She protested, but I saw amusement in her eyes.
I suddenly realized this was the first time we were alone together since her transformation—and I hated how little I feared her right now. I was still afraid of her, but her cuteness and charm were annoyingly disarming. It was almost like I had to remind myself she was a monster.
I walked around her and headed towards the couch, "I was just gonna chill out for a couple hours, then try and get some decent sleep before we resume the mission tomorrow."
Eve followed along right behind me, and when I flopped down on the couch, she flopped down with me—against me, "We'll be going down to Entana tomorrow too, yes?"
"Yeah, after the briefing."
I grabbed at the remote and started browsing through the archive of earth media they'd downloaded for me; every show and movie was available to me now, and they'd even gotten an emulator system so I could play any existing earth video game too. It was part of making me comfortable aboard The Radiance Doctor Gorgam had told me—the comforts of home.
I had my feet propped up on the couch, and Eve shifted so she was half laying on my stomach and thighs, "You want to start Yu Yu Hakusho? That was next on our list before you went down to Entana."
I hated how much I wanted that—that's all I ever wanted, some crazy sexy goth-princess cuddling with me watching anime. I abruptly got up so Eve nearly fell off the couch, looking up at me with a pouty expression, "I'm gonna get changed first." I said as I hurried off to the bedroom.
This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there.
"Oh, I should probably change too." Eve said offhandedly. I turned back to see her looking right at me as her latex-princess gown melted off her and resorb back into her skin, leaving her completely naked.
I turned away quickly, "Eve, come on, you said you wouldn't be so blatant." I complained.
I could hear Eve's teasing little giggle, "What? I just needed to get changed." I heard her make her way closer to me, "Oh right, I don't actually own any clothes." She hugged me from behind, pressing her tits into my back, "Do you think you could get me something?" She said in that fake-innocent voice.
I let out an annoyed huff and moved to the bedroom, closing the door behind me. I abandoned the futuristic clothing in exchange for my simple earth-wear, throwing on some flannel pajama pants and an old band t-shirt. I grabbed out a hoodie, another shirt and some shorts and threw them out to Eve without looking at her. "Here, tell me when you're decent."
"Somebody's got a hard-oonnn~" Eve sang in response. I looked down and sure enough, I was already pitching a surprisingly large tent in my pajama pants.
Seriously, what the fuck was up with me—or with Eve? I was 32 years old, I've been with enough women in the real world and then had plenty of experience with all manner of degenerate porn on top of it all, and yet just being around Eve—seeing her naked was enough to get me going. I felt like a fucking teenager again—all knotted up in nerves and getting a boner at every little thing.
"Eve, seriously, are you…influencing me somehow?" I asked from the safety of my bedroom.
"What do you mean?" I could hear how amused she was by my question—so fucking embarrassing.
"I dunno, like releasing some pheromones to get me going or something?" I pressed. I didn't normally blush, but I could feel my ears getting hot now.
Of course Eve laughed at that, her trilling little giggle, "I don't need to darling. How you're reacting, that's all just because it's me—your perfect woman. Every aspect of my flesh is designed to entice you; my eyes, my lips, my hair, my skin, and of course my outrageous body—it's all for you. I can sense the fantasies running wild in your mind, how eager you are for me. I love it."
"I don't suppose you'd change forms if I asked—something less…enticing?" I asked without hope.
"And why would I do that? I love how you react to me—I love this body and form because of what it does to you. As I told you before, my cells all sing in unison when I achieve perfection, and that includes my physical form to a lesser extent; I'm free to change my form to fit my needs, but this form is the most comfortable for me—like an absolutely perfect outfit you never want to change out of." Eve explained—half in that teasing tone, half in a surprisingly serious manner so she could actually answer my questions.
"So is that like your base form now?"
"My true form, yes—my perfect form."
Then there was no getting around it, I'd just have to get used to her in that outrageously sexy, beautiful form. Best I could do would be to ignore how she looked and remember inside was the Predazoan monster—easier said than done of course. Still, I had more questions about it and about her.
"Will you answer me honestly if I ask you a really serious question?" I asked, knowing there was no clear way to tell whether Eve would just lie or manipulate me, but I had to at least try for the truth.
Eve was silent for a few moments, "I'll always be honest with you Adam." She said quietly, her teasing attitude gone.
"The researchers said Predazoans don't have any sexual drive, so are you attempting to seduce me because that's what you think humans are supposed to do?"
Again, she was silent for a few moments, and when she answered, her voice had grown even softer, "Adam, come out here and talk to me—I'm dressed now."
I knew I couldn't hide from her forever. I heaved out a heavy sigh and left the bedroom, seeing Eve waiting for me on the couch—dressed in my hoodie that just made her even more desirable.
Eve gestured to herself, "I made myself mostly human so I could feel what it is to be human—to connect with you in a very real way. To be perfectly honest, it was a little overwhelming at first—all the feelings and emotions a human feels, so vivid and foreign to anything I felt as a pure Predazoan." She got up from the couch and walked over to stand before me, almost looking a little shy, "It's how I know I actually love you—really love you in a deeper way than I ever knew was even possible; it's passionate and fierce as a human, but also focused and fathomless as a Predazoan—the perfect combination."
I rolled my eyes, "Always a perfect combination with you."
Eve offered me a small smile, "Because it's true. Again, you won't be able to fully understand what I am, but I have become an even more complicated lifeform now that I've combined humanity with my Predazoan core—mortality and immortality as one entity." She placed a hand on my chest, "And with that, I have all the desires of a human, including a very, very strong sexual drive—a drive focused entirely on you."
I looked down at Eve, and I could see her vivid yellow eyes were blazing with passion now, "So when you're trying to seduce me…"
Eve nodded, "It's because I want to be with you in a very human way—and a way beyond what a human feels."
Honestly, I wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing. If she was just trying to seduce me as a form of control, I could resist that cold methodical approach. But if there was going to be genuine passion in her actions, that could make things much more difficult—but I could maybe turn her passion against her.
"I built this body all for you to play with, but also as the perfect vessel to play with you—so I can enjoy myself with you and enjoy the pleasure of being with you." Eve grinned mischievously, "And just so you know, it's a brand-new body for you to break in, with a cute little human hymen and everything." She stuck her tongue out playfully.
My eyes grew wide, "You gave yourself a hymen?"
Eve shrugged one shoulder, "Of course, I wanted to experience everything with you, even the painful experience of losing my virginity."
I held my up finger and opened my mouth, but honestly I had no response. I felt flattered? That someone—something went to such lengths made me feel…important? Special? Or did this all go back to that daughter-grooming plan of hers, make me feel like I would have a level of control over her so I'd lower my guard?
Before I could respond, Eve lowered my hand and held it in hers, "I'll respect your boundaries and won't force you into anything, but you should know I have a wildly intense desire to be with you, physically, and I won't relent in trying to get you to fuck me." She kissed the back of my hand, "It will happen, the question is how long will you keep me waiting?"
"But you, in a way, created those desires, right? When you created this new body?"
Eve shrugged again, "It's how I developed; I know you have a very strong sexual appetite, and as your perfect mate, mine is at least twice as strong."
Again, I didn't have a response, so Eve was set to keep kissing my fingers in such a gentle, tantalizing way. A shiver that had nothing to do with fear ran down my spine, and I took a step back from Eve and pulled my hand away, "Eve, it's been less than a day since my entire world got turned upside down with your wild transformation. Forget whatever you think can or will happen between us, I need time to simply adjust before my world keeps spinning out of control." I took in a deep breath and let it out twice as slow, "Will you just give me a moment to catch my breath?"
Eve looked up into my eyes, and I could see she finally came to some understanding, "Adam, I don't want you to be uncomfortable. I'm sorry a lot has changed for you, it's just difficult for me to…restrain myself from you." She let out a quick sigh, "But I can back off for now—at least for tonight." She gestured back towards the couch, "A nice relaxing night in seems like it would do us both good."
Finally, it seemed like we'd come to an understanding and established another truce—how many more we'd need to get through the next few days, who even knew. We went to the couch together, and to not overwhelm me, Eve was true to her word and kept her distance. We watched the show, and I could tell Eve enjoyed it, but I also saw her looking towards me almost as much as she looked at the TV. I tried to ignore how beautiful she was, how close she was, how it would be so simple to give into temptation and allow her to control me. But I held strong, and after a couple hours on the couch we decided to call it a night. Eve gave me a quick kiss on the cheek, and then she lingered around for a few moments as though she was about to proposition me again, but in the end she simply walked off to the bedroom and closed the door with a quiet 'goodnight'.
It felt like weeks had passed with all the activity that's been going on, but it was crazy to think it had all been one day. Eve transformed and revealed her plans, she was now a semi-free agent aboard The Radiance, and then we had dozens of talks over how our relationship had changed and what Eve wanted for our future. My mind was abuzz with activity to the point I was worried I wouldn't be able to sleep, but it turned out I was quite exhausted, and only moments after I set up the couch for the night, I fell into an easy sleep.
