If someone outside heard this conversation, they'd probably all be thrown into chaos.
Fortunately, there was the adorable Jiang Xi who was relatively normal, sweetly calling out to Jun Ye: "Uncle."
Jun Ye's sharp lips curved upwards, as if he wanted to smile but wasn't sure if he should, or maybe he couldn't even if he wanted to. Either way, he was stuck in a hard place.
"Ahem," he cleared his throat, "So, did you bully any teachers at school today?"
As the uncle who had raised them since they were young, Jun Ye considered himself more familiar with their mischievous nature than even their parents.
"Uncle, I didn't say a word at school today," Jiang Xi said with a smile, shirking all responsibility right from the start.
"Not speaking doesn't mean you weren't complicit in some mischief." Jun Ye suddenly gave a cold look to the little rascal trying to act cute and earn his favor.
