Serena's body fell to the side as a hand wrapped around her waist and held her up. "Sister, please don't fall!" Vinea hugged the weakened Serena tight, not allowing her to fall. Confused at the scene before her until she saw the fallen Drei.
'He's dead?'
She knew his strength after fighting him with Balmung, but what surprised her most was that the sword piercing his chest was his own.
'Did Big sis do this?'
Sadly, the moment Serena's head leaned back, her throat tightened, and she started vomiting blood violently. Her eyes became bloodshot as she gripped desperately onto Vinea as if she were drowning or being dragged into a pit.
"W-Where is this? What happened?!"
The beautiful empress looked dishevelled while holding a strange fox mask. Her face looked pale white, and her eyes bloodshot and swollen.
"We've saved Velvet, it's okay." Vinea glanced at the sleeping Velvet and shook her head, knowing the fight was likely difficult at her current level.
