Xiao Yu clenched her teeth, as the man's hand pressed down on her shoulder, seemingly trying to crush her bones. She forced herself to say, "Yes, he was my first love. I haven't forgotten him!"
"Damn you!" Gong Ting, furious, raised his hand. Xiao Yu was so frightened that she quickly closed her eyes. After a while, the expected slap didn't fall, but instead, she heard a heavy sound by her ear.
She opened her eyes and saw Gong Ting had punched the desk. Made of golden phoebe wood, the desk was slightly dented, and the back of his hand was bleeding, flesh burst open, looking horrifying.
Xiao Yu watched his bleeding hand with alarm, instinctively grabbing his wrist, "You're bleeding."
Gong Ting forcefully shook off her hand, and Xiao Yu stumbled from his push, nearly falling onto the shattered Jade Buddha. Luckily, she grabbed the edge of the table, but it was enough to make her break out in a cold sweat.
