Tan Jincheng carefully took off her shoes and placed her legs on the bed.
He sat at the edge of her bed, letting her lie down. One of his hands tightly held her hand, while his other hand gently and slowly massaged Yun Chu's stomach.
"Just lie down for a bit, it'll be good for you to get up and eat later."
"Hmm." Yun Chu was already very sleepy, and after lying down, although she was mindful that she needed to get up to eat later, her eyelids seemed to be glued shut, quickly sticking together!
Once she fell asleep, her consciousness sank instantly, as if all her awareness was locked inside a small, dark room and refused to come out.
It was just a few minutes before Yun Chu fell into a deep, deep sleep...
What she didn't know was that after she sank into sleep, the smile on Tan Jincheng's face disappeared without a trace in an instant, replaced by anxiety and worry.
He reached out to gently stroke her face, but she was in such a deep sleep that she completely did not respond.
