What else could Ye Chen and the others do but drink? This ordeal stretched from noon until the sun sank low, only then did they finally wrap it up.
After leaving the restaurant, Ma Banghua pulled everyone along to a bar, thinking he hadn't been to the Phoenix Bar in ages, so he nodded in agreement.
"Boss Ma, I know a nice bar. How about I take you there for a look?"
"Really? Then I'd be honored to follow your lead."
Ma Banghua's drinking capacity truly was impressive, having drunk with Ye Chen and the others all afternoon and showing no signs of intoxication, which left Ye Chen in awe.
They arrived at Phoenix Bar by taxi. After getting out, Ye Chen looked around; yes, it felt the same as before, pleasing just to look at.
Walking into the bar, there were still a few hours left until opening, so there were hardly any people inside; most were either clocking in or organizing goods.
"Sorry, sir, we're not open yet... Chen!"
