As for some families that initially charged money for a booklet and had instructors only serve as a facade, where older students would teach new students, practicing correctly or incorrectly was purely up to luck. These schools weren't focused on training, but rather on selecting the best and absorbing them into the family workforce, naturally making it difficult to pass evaluations.
