[3rd POV]
"The plan is to conquer all the dimensions I possibly can, across this entire universe. The thousands of them that there are. Or at least that is the beginning of the plan" Gwen began, as they all nodded as they listened along.
"Once I conquer enough of the dimensions, I will begin the next part of the plan, which is to begin spreading a large, truly large ward across the entire universe. The largest ward this universe has ever seen and likely will ever see" Gwen continued, as she was interrupted.
"What sort of ward? I know that they're basically security systems of a sort, but what sort of ward can you make that will be so insanely huge? What sort of ward would even need to be that big and what would it do?" Tony asked, as Gwen chuckled at his questions.
"I was getting to that Stark" Gwen said, before continuing.
"This ward will have one use and one use only. And that is to supplement the necessary space needed for the ritual that I plan on doing. A ritual that will save this universe and everyone in it" Gwen said.
"A ritual? Don't this usually need like sacrifices and shit like that?" Clint Barton asked, not sure if he liked the sound of this "ritual" it sounded like something that would end in people dead.
"Usually yes, but not in this case. In this case I will use this ritual in tandem with my power in order to do the one thing needed to save this universe" Gwen said, as they all silently waited for her to continue.
"Which is to absorb the entire universe into myself" Gwen finished, as that immediately got the reactions she was expecting from the group.
"Absorb it into yourself?! You want to absorb the entire universe?!" Carol yelled as she shot to her feet in alarm.
"How the hell would that even work?" Tony asked with a frown.
"Wouldn't that kill everyone in the universe? There's no way that'll work!" Clint exclaimed, his worries seemingly being confirmed by Gwen's words, as he wondered if she was really someone they should be working with.
"Yes, I'll explain that, and no it will not kill everyone. Now stop cutting me off and let me explain myself damnit!" Gwen said glaring at them as they all reeled back slightly in fear, feeling her annoyance at them at the moment.
She was damn scary.
"The ritual itself isn't the part that will allow me to absorb the universe, but it will be the absorption of Eternity and Infinity that will allow me to absorb the universe. By doing this, I will effectively become a new iteration of Eternity and Infinity, and will become the personification of this universe" Gwen explained, as they all went silent when hearing this.
"Which will mean that the universe will continue to exist for as long as I live. And I am functionally immortal in all forms, not even Death herself can kill me anymore, not permanently" Gwen informed, as the group stared at her like she had grown another head.
"So you're talking about...becoming the universe? Like, we'd all be...inside of you?" Tony asked awkwardly as Gwen cringed.
"Yeah don't word it like that, please. I know it sounds weird, but it's the only real way I can safely keep this universe alive, and obtain more power for the future conflicts that are going to be arriving very very soon" Gwen responded, not liking the idea of an entire universe of people "Being inside of her".
Although she imagined Artemis and Korra would cackle at the words.
"And would Eternity and Infinity even agree to something like that? They'd cease to exist if they accepted, wouldn't they?" Carol asked, not sure how she felt about this idea of Gwen's.
"They would merge with me, Carol. I'd become them and they'd become me. We'd be one and the same. I'd be Eternity, Infinity, and Gwen" Just like she was all the other beings that made up her form, a combination of billions of souls to make her.
All under the name Gwen.
"...And you're confident this would work? That they'd accept something like that?" Tony asked, not believing that the two nigh-omnipotent entities would willingly let her assimilate/absorb them into herself.
"They won't really have much of an option Tony. If they say no then they'll die either way. But if they accept then they will live on in another form, a stronger one" Gwen responded, believing that the two of them would accept.
She was confident that they already knew about her plans and considering they weren't stopping her, she was even more confident that they were willing to go through with the plan. As if they truly didn't like the plan, then they would have stopped her by now.
"So you're going to become the universe itself? Then what? What are you going to do after that? How will you even talk to us when you are literally the universe" It was Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow that asked this question.
"Me being the universe itself doesn't mean I cannot enter the universe, sending an avatar in. It's all convoluted and makes little to no sense, but all you need to know is that I can still talk to you, walk with you, and interact. It won't change anything" Gwen responded, already expecting this question as it was a good one.
"How are you going to stop the incursions after that though?" Ant Man asked, not really getting how that would end up helping them.
"I can't stop them. It's beyond even me at this point, but I can save this universe. And once the incursions are over with and the multiverse "ends" I can deal with the man that is causing it, and bring back the greater multiverse, but that will only be possible after this is over with" Gwen replied.
"Who the hell could cause incursions? I thought it was started by some higher entities or something"
"It was. But this man is the reason why it's continuing, almost like explosions going off rippling through all of reality. And that man is a...version of Viktor Von Doom from our sister universe 616" Gwen answered, as the others felt their eyes widened.
They all knew Doom, of him working with Gwen. They knew that the man respected her greatly and had been improving his home country rapidly over the past few months thanks to him stopping conflict with the Fantastic Four and instead working on improving his own country and his people.
"Doom is behind all of this? How the hell can Doom even do that? Sure he's smart and strong, but not this strong!" Peter Parker exclaimed, as the others began to all talk about the idea of taking down their Doom, but Gwen shut that down pretty quickly.
"The doom of our universe is not the same as that Doom. And he is not strong enough, not even remotely. He's just set off a ripple effect with the aid of the Doctor Strange of 616, and a being known as "Molecule Man" who is incredibly powerful in his own right. These bombs are other versions of Molecule Man, and it was the death of one of them that started all of this. Now Doom is trying to kill the ones who made these "Bombs" in the first place, and it is those beings that I have to prepare for" Gwen responded, as they all soaked in this new information.
It was...a lot to learn about. To learn that the multiverse was literally ending because of walking human shaped bombs of incredible power. And Doctor Doom was actively fighting against the incursions...sort of at least.
"But why do you have to prepare for them if Doctor Doom is the cause of this?"
"Well...he's not the cause per se. But he is the problem in the end. As once this is all over, once they understand that nothing can be done. The beings that did this will be killed, and all of their power, that incredible nigh-omnipotent power that is beyond even the Living Tribunal, will flood to one singular being" Gwen said, as they all realized why she was talking about Doom now.
"Doom...he'll become unstoppable"
"He will. And that is why I must become stronger, why I have to prepare for him, for what he'll become. I can't stop it, not anymore, but I can prepare for it. Just like I did with Knull. It's literally my duty now, as the Queen in Black. My duty to stop the "King in Ivory" the Ivory Emperor that will be born from the absorption of the power of those Ivory Kings" Gwen responded, as they all began to lean back in their chairs, absorbing everything that she was saying.
They didn't know what to say to any of this at this point.
At least until Steve Rogers spoke up, and said something that everyone there agreed with, and that caused Gwen to smile. And that one thing was...
"...How do we help?"
