On both sides of the entrance to the Sumeru Temple, five Immortal Testing Pillars stand.
The pillars are over ten zhang tall, with a diameter of one zhang.
These ten Immortal Testing Pillars are used to test the cultivation level of all immortals participating in the Buddha Fruit Festival and to determine if they possess the Innate Spiritual Root.
To be selected for the list of five hundred immortals to break the Unparalleled Five Elements Formation, one must first have an Innate Spiritual Root, and secondly, the cultivation level must not be lower than the Heavenly Immortal Realm.
After the Immortal Testing Pillar test, immortals who meet these two conditions are temporarily entered into the candidate list.
Then, according to the cultivation level and combat power, the final five hundred immortals are selected through a process of survival of the fittest.
