To avoid unnecessary trouble, Bai Xiaosheng and the other two sped up, leaving the scene where they had pummeled those tough guys.
They had not yet reached the main street but managed to get a taxi.
It seems that although taxis are scarce here, it's not as difficult to get one as imagined.
Bai Xiaosheng gave the name of the destination, and the taxi driver nodded, driving straight towards Shengsheng International.
In the car, Bai Xiaosheng called Zhengdong Province.
"Old Zheng, I've arrived at Tianhu." Once the call was connected, Bai Xiaosheng said.
"Did you fly or take the high-speed train, at which station are you? I'll come pick you up now!" Zhengdong Province's voice obviously lifted with excitement on the phone.
It seems Bai Xiaosheng's arrival encouraged him.
"No need, we're in a car now, we'll be there soon." Bai Xiaosheng said with a smile.
