Mo Shangjun knocked on the door of the lit office next door.
The door wasn't closed, and Xiong Zhixin was dozing in her chair. Upon hearing the knock, she suddenly woke up, glanced at the door, and then rubbed her eyes, muttering, "So soon?"
"Yeah."
Mo Shangjun responded casually.
Xiong Zhixin stood up from her chair and glanced at the time on her wristwatch.
It was almost eleven, time for the trainees to rest.
She nodded absentmindedly and said, "I'll give you a ride back."
"Yeah."
Mo Shangjun replied again, with an air of indifference.
Xiong Zhixin gave her a curious look but didn't think much of it. She grabbed her keys and went downstairs with Mo Shangjun.
The rain was still falling, so Xiong Zhixin handed Mo Shangjun a dry towel, telling her to keep warm for now and to change clothes as soon as she got back to the dormitory.
Mo Shangjun thanked her, and before she could fasten her seatbelt, Xiong Zhixin suddenly backed the car out, and then floored the accelerator.
