Mu Jingxi's eyes darted around, avoiding direct eye contact with her.
Qiao An hummed, "I knew it."
"I'm not leaving," Mu Jingxi sighed, "There's an empty bed in the room next door, I'll rest there."
Qiao An was skeptical of his explanation.

The next morning, bright and early.
Little Nuomi woke up first.
She struggled to open her sleepy eyes, and when she saw the person in front of her, she was stunned.
Her little mouth formed an "O" shape in surprise, and she stared straight at Mu Jingxi, unable to say a word for a long time.
"Good morning, Little Nuomi."
Little Nuomi bumped her head over.
Thud!
Tears almost welled up instantly.
"Ouch!" Little Nuomi whined, her eyes red, tears sparkling, as she tightly covered her forehead with her little paw, "It hurts a lot."
Mu Jingxi looked bewildered, not understanding what had happened, a slight pain coming from his chin reminded him that his darling daughter had just done something silly.
