A deep night.
Gu Minglu supported Gu Mingyue, the two staggering back to his apartment.
As soon as Gu Mingyue stepped inside, she suddenly pushed Gu Minglu away and rushed to the toilet, vomiting violently, as if tearing her heart out.
Gu Minglu walked to her side, crouched down, silently patting her back.
Gu Mingyue vomited for a while, paused for half a minute, and then vomited again, curling up in pain, her face flushed red due to the intensity of her vomiting.
Gu Minglu stayed with Gu Mingyue the whole time.
After a long while, Gu Mingyue seemed to quiet down.
She sat on the bathroom floor, her head resting on the toilet.
"Mingyue, are you feeling better?" Gu Minglu asked her.
Gu Mingyue didn't speak, quietly leaning against the toilet.
"I'll help you to the bed to sleep," Gu Minglu said, preparing to lift her up.
Yet Gu Mingyue couldn't muster any strength, her body soft like mud, leaving Gu Minglu with no place to find a point of support.
