The grand villa of the Yao Family.
Ali sat there awkwardly, somewhat dumbfounded, listening to Yao's mother's detailed arrangements word by word.
She really hadn't expected such a thing to happen; she planned to have an abortion today.
"Ali, do you have a lot of things?" Yao's mother suddenly asked her.
"Auntie," Ali called her, "I never thought about marrying Beikun, truly."
"I know Beikun has a bit of a temper and isn't settled yet. But don't worry, I'll make sure to discipline him. Once you two are married, you'll have a family, and he'll learn to mature." Yao's mother seemed worried that she would dislike this arrangement.
The more it was like this, the more she felt utterly embarrassed.
"It's not that I don't want to marry Beikun. It's that Beikun doesn't like me. I used to work as..." Ali struggled to say it aloud.
