"They're beautiful," Kiyomi breathed after a silence.
All that had been pained was raw.
From the heart.
There was so much desperation in the art that, for a moment, Kiyomi wondered if the mad queen ever healed because there were a lot of things going on in that timeline.
"I don't think I can let anyone see them anymore," Sakura said quietly.
Kiyomi looked at her tenderly as if she understood and could see where Sakura was coming from.
Maybe she did.
Maybe after so many years of being on the run for a crime she had been framed for, Kiyomi knew what it meant to be running from something that she could never truly outrun.
Eventually, all of this would be out there.
If not today, in the future.
"If you want to, I can help," Kiyomi said, her smile brightening Sakura's life once again.
