Liu inhaled shapely after her response, like she was preparing for the worst of the worst, even as she struggled to pick herself up from the floor she had fallen on earlier.
If she was going to deal with Izanami, she would not be on the ground while the woman sat there with her head held high.
Liu was no coward, and she was not going to let Izanami think otherwise.
Maybe it was a dangerous gamble, but wasn't she a risk taker anyway, given her history of crazed decisions?
