Sakura had been trying for days to fix her friend, and honestly, it was scary how, after fifteen whole days, there was still no progress.
Tsuki's energy levels had still dwindled.
It was not something that Sakura had looked forward to, but she couldn't exactly scold her friend for trying to save her life. She would have done the same damn thing if the roles were reversed.
So much had happened at the time, and they had to work through that kind of shit. Honestly, maybe it was a lot to deal with at the moment, but there was no denying that at the end of the day, they were on the same team.
Perhaps that was why Sakura refused to put her back on the field until she was sure Tsuki was alright. It wouldn't be fair to her if she got hurt again, and when it came to Izanami, pain was something they all had to deal with.
Even if Tsuki had been good at hiding hers.
There was no way for her to heal if she was back out there dodging swords and signing hers.
