The Grand Palace was once again booming with life, but not because Izanami had finally realized it was better for her to let everyone be, and they could live their lives. It wasn't even because the people of Doiwa hadn't seen Kiyomi for ten days.
If anything, it was because the queen was out of her damn mind.
Her confidants were skeptical about what this meant for them, as the woman was not predictable.
Strangely enough, she had kept Minato by her side. The man who hated the queen more than anything was now the one she trusted the most, which was a very dangerous game. But Izanami didn't need to know that.
She didn't feel like getting to understand the chaos that she had triggered and the pain that was waiting for her people. Minato was a good person, at least one that Izanami would defend until the very end of life.
