Chapter 3 - Perbert Project Under construction

Chapter 3: Pervert Project Under Construction

I sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the wooden ceiling, breathing slowly.

I was now officially… the protagonist of a ridiculous "dating" novel, owning a lust system, and living inside the body of a guy who nearly died from heart failure.

Should I feel excited?

"Olivia, are you there?"

Her voice came instantly—soft, composed… but with an unmistakable tone of hidden mockery.

> "Since you're still alive, yes… I'm here."

"Are lust systems always this philosophical?"

> "Only when assigned to boys with zero experience, fragile hearts, and confused minds."

I sighed. "Great… I'm just a test subject for a sarcastic system."

> "Don't sell yourself short. You're a full-fledged pervert project under construction."

Despite myself, I chuckled. Her presence, as bizarre as it was, made this new reality easier to digest.

"Alright… show me where to start."

> "It's simple: girl, interaction, effect.

A look, a touch, a double-meaning phrase… The system feeds on excitement, not meditation."

"A girl? Already?"

> "I'm not asking you to marry her. Just spark something in her heart… or her body. Whichever reacts first."

I stood up with a tired sigh. "Feels like a game… with no clear prize."

> "Oh, but the prize is clear: skills, power, women… and maybe a sudden heart attack if you overdo it."

"You're surprisingly helpful."

---

I left the room.

Silence cloaked the dorm hallway—no one around.

I made my way down to a small courtyard near a fountain… and there she was.

A girl, sitting alone, reading.

Gentle features, short brown hair, small glasses resting on her nose. I recalled her name from the body's memories: Hana.

> "Excellent choice for a first target," Olivia chimed in.

"Shy, introverted, unused to male interaction. Perfect for a first move… with minimal legal risk."

"You speak from experience?"

> "I'm a lust system. Don't expect me to be mentally pure."

I approached her and spoke gently,

"Hi, mind if I sit here?"

She lifted her head slowly, eyes wide, and gave a small nod without saying a word.

I sat quietly and pretended to adjust the buttons on my shirt.

"Studying for something?"

She replied in a whisper, "Wind element… I have a test tomorrow."

"Ah… wind. Very useful for creating… emotional effects."

She glanced at me, puzzled, but didn't reply.

"Does that count as a bad joke?" I whispered to Olivia.

> "It counts as a sad seduction attempt… but hey, she looked at you twice."

I noticed a cup beside her, partially spilled.

I pulled out a napkin, wiped it gently, and briefly touched her fingers.

She didn't pull away—just loosened her grip.

> "Well done," Olivia whispered.

"First interaction recorded. Lust energy: one out of a hundred. Truly, a legend is born."

"Is sarcasm one of your core functions?"

> "No, but it keeps things interesting."

I looked at Hana again. "Do you always sit here?"

She replied, "Sometimes… I don't like crowds."

"I don't either. Maybe we could be a small crowd together."

Her face reddened a little, and she smiled faintly.

Then she stood suddenly and said softly,

"I'll be back later… if you're still here."

And she left.

"Was that a success?" I asked.

> "You worked a miracle. Raised attraction from zero to three percent. The world may never recover."

"I'll need a lot of patience… and maybe a touch of stupidity."

> "And a lot of courage… and a little lack of morals."

---

I returned to the room, sat down, and closed the door.

It wasn't a grand event, but it was the first step.

The system was alive.

And I… had entered a game unlike anything I've ever known.

"Olivia…"

> "Yes, my little pervert project?"

"...Let's start the game."
