Chapter 166 - Chapter 149 - Three-Tiger Axe

"Phew, finally my body healed," Rei said as he looked at his shoulder, which had already recovered from Threo's attack.

It took him ten minutes to fully heal, but at least it was over now and he could move his left arm again.

But the problem was the clothes that Lyria made for him were completely ruined now. "I hope Lyria isn't going to get mad..."

"Hey Djeeta, what about Threo?" Rei asked.

"She's fine. Your attack managed to neutralize her ultimate and miss her," Djeeta said while using Threo's cloak to cover her body because her clothes were also ruined and she was basically naked after the fight.

Her cloak that had flown away earlier managed to survive, and now Djeeta was using it to cover herself.

"But still, a Draph body is really... how should I say it... that chest is just not fair," Djeeta said as she poked Threo's chest and compared it to her own.

Well, compared to any race, a Draph body could be said to be more developed, with the only exception being that female Draph were short.

"You're not that bad either, Djeeta. I mean, yours is nice to grab," Rei said.

"I know~ You always praise my chest when we're in bed," Djeeta said with a grin, remembering every time they did it.

Both of them started joking around for a while, leaving Threo's unconscious body alone.

"Anyway, should we go back? We've been here for hours and the sun is already starting to disappear," Rei said after they finished.

"Hmm yeah. After watching you two fight, I realized there are things I can improve in my fighting style, so I want to test it when we get back home."

"Alright, but first we should head back to Siero and give her our loot so she can check if there is something good or not."

Before they left, Rei started repairing the place where they had been fighting. The destruction from fighting Threo was too much.

He repaired the multiple craters. He repaired the massive slices that split the ground apart. He repaired the destroyed terrain caused by their clashes and by Threo's energy earlier.

"Thank you, Lumi. Yiggi," he said in thanks to the two primal beasts before they disappeared back into his body.

"By the way, what should we do with Threo? Should we bring her with us?" Djeeta asked, pointing at Threo.

"Of course. She said earlier that she can't move for a week after using her ace card, so we can't just leave her alone here."

"Alright, I'm going to pick up her weapon while you pick her up."

Djeeta then walked toward Threo's weapon, which had already turned back into a greataxe, while Rei started carrying Threo.

But when Djeeta touched the handle and grabbed it, the weapon suddenly reacted to her.

As Djeeta's hand touched the handle, the greataxe suddenly began to glow. The three stars decorating the blade shone the brightest among it.

They lit up intensely, and Djeeta's hand clenched around the handle unconsciously as the greataxe started shaking and moving on its own.

"Ehhh?? What happened!?" Djeeta yelled in confusion as she tried to pull her hand away, but she couldn't let go of the handle she was gripping.

Her left arm, which was holding the greataxe, slowly began to move along with the weapon as it continued rising upward.

Until her arm was fully raised high toward the sky.

The three stars on the blade suddenly shone even brighter before a beam of light burst upward.

"Djeeta!?" Rei immediately set Threo down and rushed forward, trying to help the clearly confused Djeeta.

But he couldn't get closer.

A barrier suddenly appeared out of nowhere, blocking his path and surrounding Djeeta as if it were protecting her.

"What the—? This energy… Don't tell me…" Rei muttered as he placed his hand against the barrier. The moment he felt it, the energy inside was immediately familiar to him.

It was Boundary Power.

Meanwhile, the energy that burst into the sky continued to spread outward, exploding across the heavens. The clear blue sky was gradually covered as waves of purple light spread across it like an aurora.

Then, in the sky above, three stars slowly appeared.

They shone brightly as they decorated the entire sky, turning the scene into something strangely beautiful.

"What the hell is happening??" Djeeta yelled again as she looked up at the sky, desperately trying to pry her hand away from the greataxe's handle. Her fingers refused to move, as if the weapon itself had locked onto her grip.

The light from the three stars continued to pour upward, and the strange aurora spreading across the sky only grew wider, covering more and more of the blue horizon.

Meanwhile, far away from the Phantagrande Skydom, on New Utopia Island—

Inside a vast hall carved from white stone and decorated with towering pillars, a man slowly lifted his gaze toward the sky outside.

He sat upon an elevated throne, his posture straight and unmoving. He was no frail elder. Though age had placed faint lines around his eyes and along the corners of his mouth, his presence still carried the weight of someone who had ruled for many years. His hair, streaked with silver, was neatly combed back, and a heavy cloak lined with gold embroidery rested across his broad shoulders.

Every piece of clothing he wore spoke of authority—layered robes of deep royal colors, adorned with insignias that marked his status as a ruler. Yet it was not the garments that made him intimidating.

It was his gaze.

Sharp, steady, and filled with the calm certainty of someone used to giving orders that shaped the fate of entire islands.

Even seated, he carried the quiet pressure of a king.

His fingers rested lightly on the armrest of his throne as he watched the distant sky through the open balcony of the hall, where faint traces of purple light had begun to spread across the horizon.

"So," the man murmured slowly, his voice deep and controlled.

"The Singularity has finally begun to move."

"Call the Golden Knight," the man said, his voice calm yet filled with command and sharp authority.

The order had barely left his lips when movement echoed through the hall.

Not long after, the massive doors of the throne room slowly opened with a deep, resonant sound.

A lone figure stepped inside.

The person was clad entirely in armor that concealed their appearance. Polished plates of gold covered their body from head to toe, reflecting the light of the chamber like a mirror. Even their face was hidden behind an ornate golden helm, its design shaped with elegant lines that gave the figure a dignified yet imposing presence.

The armored figure walked forward without hesitation.

When they reached the foot of the throne, they lowered themselves onto one knee, bowing their head respectfully before the king.

Their voice, calm and disciplined, echoed softly within the hall.

"You summoned me, Your Majesty?"

The king simply stared at the kneeling knight for a few moments before he finally spoke.

"Do you still wish to prove yourself?" His voice was calm, yet carried the weight of authority that filled the entire throne room. "If that is the case, then the Singularity has finally begun to move. The Scarlet Knight warned me that the Singularity must not be underestimated."

His gaze remained fixed on the armored figure before him.

"I want you to go to the Phantagrande Skydom and confirm it yourself."

The Golden Knight did not respond immediately. They remained kneeling, silent as they absorbed every word spoken by their king.

The silence stretched for a few seconds.

"Do you refuse my order?" the king asked sharply.

The knight finally moved.

"Understood, Your Majesty. I shall carry out your command."

The Golden Knight rose to their feet, bowed once more with strict formality, and then turned before leaving the throne room.

Phantagrande Skydom was extremely far from their current location. Even for a skyfarer, the journey would take several months before reaching it.

However, that did not matter.

This was the king's command.

As one of the Seven Luminary Knights, they existed to follow the king's will.

After the Golden Knight departed, the king slowly stood from his throne and walked toward the large veranda overlooking the capital of New Utopia. From there, the entire floating city stretched out beneath the sky, magnificent and grand.

He stopped at the railing.

Closing his eyes for a moment, he took a slow breath before opening them again.

This time, his eyes began to glow faintly.

"Still… I cannot see them."

His voice was low as he spoke to himself.

"How can something hide from these eyes?"

His hand slowly clenched into a fist.

Within those eyes existed the power known as the King's Eye—an ability that allowed him to see almost everything across the skies. Through it, he could observe countless possibilities and glimpse the threads of events unfolding throughout the world.

Yet something had changed.

Several months ago, that ability began to fail.

Not completely—but whenever he tried to observe the Singularity, whenever he attempted to see where they were or what part of the story they had reached, his vision would turn dark.

Before that moment, he had still been able to see them clearly.

The Singularity… and the small red dragon beside her, still living peacefully on their home island.

Then one day—

His eyes can't see them anymore.

That's why the king decided to alter his plan slightly by sending the Golden Knight—his daughter—to the Singularity.

Not only the king—across different skydoms, several others also sensed the change in Djeeta's direction.

Unlike him, however, they did not know that the person involved was the Singularity. What they felt instead was something else entirely—someone awakening the power of a Revenant Weapon.

"Finally, we're going to get a new member."

The voice came from a man with short, messy, spiky blonde hair. Two swords rested at his hips, one on each side, their hilts worn from long use.

"Wait… if we get a new member, are we still going to be called the Juutenshu? What name should I think of then? Ahh, I should come up with a good one."

The man continued muttering to himself, sounding oddly excited as he walked through the battlefield.

ROOOAARR!

Suddenly, a massive monster lunged at him from behind, its enormous claw crashing down toward him with enough force to crush stone.

"Oh my."

With a casual motion, the man drew one of his swords with a single hand and effortlessly stopped the descending claw. The blade met the monster's strike without even trembling.

"I thought I already finished everything here, but it seems I missed one."

He pushed the claw aside as if it weighed nothing, then simply turned around and began walking toward the nearby town to report the completion of his mission.

"Maybe it's time for another meeting to discuss the name~" the man said cheerfully as he left.

Behind him, the monster remained frozen in place like a statue.

All around the area, hundreds of corpses from the same species of monster lay scattered across the ground. Blood covered the battlefield so heavily that it gathered into dark pools resembling a lake.

Then, a moment later—

The frozen monster suddenly split apart.

Invisible cuts appeared across its body, slicing it into dozens of pieces at once. What remained fell apart into scattered flesh, blood, and fragments of organs before collapsing into the already crimson ground.

Back with Djeeta, the aurora in the sky suddenly began to shift. The flowing colors stretched and twisted slowly before the three stars hanging above started circling across the sky.

The aurora followed their movement, trailing behind them like ribbons of light as the entire sky seemed to come alive.

"Woah… that's beautiful," Djeeta murmured.

At this point, she had already given up trying to let go of the greataxe. No matter how much strength she used, her hand refused to release the handle, so she simply watched the spectacle above her instead.

Meanwhile, Rei remained where he was, his attention fixed on the barrier surrounding her. Instead of worrying, he began carefully analyzing it. Opportunities like this were rare. Normally, Boundary Power existed inside Djeeta's body, making it difficult for him to observe directly, but now it was manifesting outside in a pure form.

He watched every movement of the energy closely.

After the aurora and the three stars circled the sky for several moments, their movement suddenly changed. The stars tilted downward, and the flowing lights followed their path as everything began descending.

All of it was heading toward Djeeta.

"Eh?"

The three stars shot downward first, dragging the aurora behind them as if the entire sky had turned into a river of light flowing toward a single point.

Toward her.

All that energy poured straight into the Three-Tiger Axe before flowing into Djeeta's hand that gripped the handle.

"Wait, wait, wait!" Djeeta yelled.

She could feel it immediately. Something powerful rushed into her body through the weapon.

Energy surged through her like a raging current.

Her body filled with overwhelming strength as power coursed through her veins. The aura surrounding her intensified, making her clothes flutter wildly while her hair swayed in the violent flow of energy around her.

Then the energy inside her body suddenly burst outward.

A wave of power exploded from Djeeta like a storm breaking free. Brilliant blue energy surged around her, raging and swirling violently as if the air itself had turned into a burning ocean of light. The aura did not simply surround her—it roared upward in powerful streams, twisting and flowing like living flames made of pure energy. The ground beneath her feet trembled slightly from the pressure, while the air around her distorted from the sheer intensity of the power radiating from her body.

Yet despite the overwhelming aura, her hair did not change color.

Only her eyes did.

They shifted into a deep, luminous blue, glowing with a sharp brilliance that made them look almost otherworldly. It was similar to the time she fought against Aliza's uncle, but this time the power felt far stronger—far denser than before.

The blue aura continued to surge around her body as the Three-Tiger Axe in her hand glowed faintly, acting like a bridge that connected the weapon and the power now awakening inside her.

One Revenant Weapon was not enough for Djeeta to fully unleash the true power of Boundary.

But it was more than enough to reignite the Boundary power within her once again.
