Chapter 218 - Chapter 217

As Arthur spoke, his eyes landed on Sanji, who was busy at a ramen shop. The place was bustling, and it seemed everyone had already found their own way to fit in. Zoro, for instance, had taken up the role of a wandering ronin(Samurai), drifting aimlessly through the streets.

"I should talk to Sanji first," Arthur thought to himself. "If he runs into Luffy, he can bring it up with him. That way, they'll know about my plans to leave Wano. There's really nothing here for me."

With that, Arthur stepped into the ramen shop. Sanji's culinary skills were unmatched, and in Wano, his talent had become even more valuable. He had adapted well, using his cooking skills to make a living in the country.

Thanks to his charm and eloquence, Sanji had drawn quite the crowd—especially from the young women of Wano, who frequently visited the shop for a bowl of his delicious ramen. The place was lively, with customers chatting and enjoying their meals, and business was booming.

Arthur couldn't help but smirk at the sight. Sanji, as always, knew how to make the best of any situation.

When Arthur arrived at the ramen shop, he was taken aback by how lively the place was. Making his way to the back kitchen, he found Sanji in the middle of his work. Sanji, equally surprised by Arthur's sudden appearance, glanced up from his cooking.

"Why are you here all of a sudden?" Sanji asked, flipping noodles in a pot with practiced ease. "Don't tell me you're already bored of Wano. Look, I'm busy right now. Let's talk when I get a moment, okay?"

Arthur leaned against the counter, watching Sanji work. "This place really isn't for me," he admitted. "Honestly, I regret coming here. What are you even doing in Wano? You've been lying low for months. Why haven't you left yet? If this drags on much longer, I'm out of here. It's dull, and I can't see the point of staying."

Sanji paused for a moment, lighting a cigarette and taking a long drag. He exhaled slowly, his expression serious. "I get it, Arthur. You don't owe us anything, and you're free to go. But we're staying because Wano needs us."

Arthur raised an eyebrow but said nothing, letting Sanji continue.

"We're not just hiding here for fun," Sanji explained. "We're waiting for the right moment to strike. Kaido has this country under his control, and we're here to help take him down. The plan is to overthrow his iron-fisted rule and give Wano a chance to thrive again."

Arthur sighed, shrugging his shoulders. "That's a noble goal, I guess, but this place still feels lifeless to me."

Sanji gave a small smirk, blowing out another puff of smoke. "It might seem dull now, but trust me, when the time comes to fight, things will be anything but boring."

"Maybe staying in this place feels too dull for you," Sanji said, his tone thoughtful. "After all, you've spent time on the Sky Island, which is much bigger and livelier. But for us, staying here has a purpose. We've got our goals."

He paused, then continued, "Our main objective is to defeat Kaido. He's the biggest obstacle standing in the way of our progress."

Arthur nodded, understanding Sanji's point. "This is Luffy's idea too, right?"

Sanji smiled faintly. "Exactly. Luffy wants to be the King of the Pirates, but right now, Kaido and Big Mom are huge barriers to that goal. If he's serious about becoming the Pirate King, he has to overcome them."

Arthur thought for a moment. "I get it. If Luffy wants to keep moving forward, he'll need to deal with these threats. Besides, there are some important historical texts right here in Wano. I know that Luffy isn't one to sit by when someone like Momonosuke is in danger, so it makes sense they wouldn't ignore the problem."

"Then go for it," Arthur said with a small smile. "I believe in you all."
