The messages were expected. Max had watched Golden Axe's progress through the dungeon menu without opening a viewing window. He knew where they were, how many remained alive, and when they entered the throne room. He had no intention of sitting through every strike after spending weeks testing Kildra himself.
He was more interested in what came afterward.
Anna stood beside his desk while flipping through sheets of paper on her dungeon clipboard. Quin waited near the wall, dressed in his usual black armor. All three watched the Final Trial entry on the menu change from active to complete.
