An unfinished room on the fifth level had four walls, one door, and no windows.
It would eventually become a store.
It was also where Max needed to decide how many shelves belonged along the northern wall. He created a fifth shelf, studied the result, and removed it again.
"You have done that three times." Quin said.
The swordsman sat on an unopened wooden crate with a cup of coffee in one hand. A viewing screen floated in front of him.
"The room looks crowded with five."
"It looked crowded the first two times too."
"I was making sure."
"A fifth shelf may look different if you summon it with confidence." Quin teased.
Max ignored him and selected a warmer setting for the light crystals in the ceiling. The room changed from white to soft gold.
"Better." Quin said.
"I did not ask."
"You brought me here."
"To review the recording."
"Then stop arguing with the shelves and start it. I want to see how those jokers destroyed an airship."
