So here we are with a bunch of broken chunks of what is basically nevermelt ice from Pokémon. It's already been several hours of breaking it down into smaller pieces so they could be packed up into carts.
Because of course, nobody wants to carry around ice by hand. It's also more professional but who cares about that?
The person I was going to bestow next, Which was Ais, was busy helping breaking a packaging the ice. I of course wanted to help too but I was excluded due to my power simply erasing the ice instead of breaking it.
So here I am, sitting twiddling my thumbs waiting for someone to no longer be busy.
"Maybe I should've went with a fire spell or something, this is taking sooo long." I complained.
Look man, I wanted to see magic from my favourite series in action, not create new income for Finn. Wait, will I get some of the money from this? They couldn't have done this without me after all.
"It should be over soon, just look, it's only a few more chunks left." Loki said from beside me, her voice was filled with a small gurgle.
"How are you even sucking on that thing, those don't melt so so how are you keeping it from getting stuck on the inside of your mouth." I asked looking at her strangely.
"It's all about technique kid, can't keep it in one place for long and gotta make sure it's always being flipped so it's always coated in saliva. Keeps your whole body cool while doing it too." She answered why skillfully keeping the small ice cube in her mouth moving.
"…"

Looking away from Loki I went back to my sulking, but it was vanquished quickly after, as I witness the last two chunks of ice being packed away.
Oh heavens above, how you bless me.
Hopping out of my seat I run over to Ais "Ais! You aren't needed anymore right?" I said grabbing ahold of her hand.
She turned to look at Finn who having heard me looked over at us "Yes, you may go." He said waving us off.
"This will be majestic! I'm sure you'll like it too" I said dragging her along with me.
Of course I wasn't actually dragging her, if she wasn't walking alongside my pull, it would be like an ant trying to lift a house. A valiant effort, but ultimately unachievable.
We tried finding a secluded area away from prying eyes but, with the training field still busy and the inside of the building also busy it was annoyingly difficult.
So, instead of fully finding a busy area I just brought her to the side of the building and set up a barrier. Why waste effort looking for a spot when you can just make one?
"That should be good enough" I said, I'd set up a thick multilayered spherical barrier around us. Unless someone broke the barriers, they wouldn't be hearing or seeing anything.
"Your Ariel is an enhancement type magic right? So something you lack is a strong ranged option. As while it can be used at mid range and to a certain extent long range, that's not exactly an optimal move." I said
She nodded
"But, you are still a close quarters combatant who's pivotal for the front line of the party, so you can't be using long chants in the back." I explained. I already knew exactly what I was going to give her but, gotta keep up appearances you know?
She nodded once more.
"Alright, I have the perfect thing for you!" I exclaimed clapping my hands "Do the same thing Miss Riveria did in the meeting room" I told her with a smile
Once more she nodded, probably not having anything specific to ask. She knelt down without a word, waiting with clear expectation in her eyes.
I placed my hand upon her head and started
"For it is through knowledge we achieve competence."
My mana wafted out of me like a misty cloud, Yeah I guess I'll just stick to saying mana, its red glow permeating the already red area.
"Through this, we declare our right to strive forth to the source of all possibility."
Ais's own mana responded in kind, blowing outwards like a gust of wind. Focusing on her mana I could feel it, the weird darkness imbedded in her. Is it her avenger skill?
"With this is I embrace you in my infinite competence."
Our mana twisted together, my red cloud enveloping her adrift of into her body solidifying my bestowal.
Our mana quickly dissipated, returning to our own bodies.
I swiftly dropped the barriers that surrounded us since the bestowal was over, and it seems no one got curious about the random red sphere at the side of the building, or no one noticed, but who know.
"…The hammer of the wind king?" Ais question quietly " It doesn't look anything like a hammer though" she continued

"Well because it's more like a figure of speech to categorize the spell and give it a name. It's not really literal." I said awkwardly. Though truthfully, there were a lot of spells out there that were really on the nose.
"Anyways~" I intoned "You should test it out! See if you like it"
"Mm"
She of course couldn't fire it off where we are right now due to the existence of another building to our left, the familia house to our right, and firing it straight could still cause damage to the building.
Heading back to the training field the amount of people lingering had dwindled considerably, and from what I could tell it was all people who knew about my ability. So she could freely use the spell with no need to come up with an excuse.
The familia members who came to help package the ice were very confused on where it could have possibly come from. But of course they had no reason to question their familia captain and Goddess, it was just ice after all, how important could it be?
Riveria, Lefiya, and Tiona were the only main members that remained outside.
Walking over to them I asked "Were you guys waiting for us?"
"Of course we were! I want to see what you have Ais!" Tiona exclaimed
"Yes, I wanted to see what magic you've given her. Ais is a large part of our vanguard, she can't be in the rear for too long. Especially not in deeper floors." Riveria answered
"I wanted to see Ais's new spell too.." Lefiya said
Of course, of course, who wouldn't want to see this masterpiece?
Turning to Ais I see her already having her sword drawn, preparing herself.
"You ready?" I asked
"Yes" she answered simply
"Then fire at will!" I exclaimed
"…Who's Will?" She asked looking back at me.
"…"
"…"
"…"
"…Just use the spell Ais." I said with a sigh.
She tilted her head in confusion but returned to focus in-front of her. She shifted her posture into an Ox guard stance, she squinted her eyes in focus.
Pale green wind began to swirl around her, concentrating and enveloping around her sword. Initially a breeze it quickly transformed into gale like winds.
"Strike Air, Hammer of the Wind King!"
With her call the Gale around her transformed into a tempest, she thrust her blade forward, devastation followed.
A fierce tempest of pale green wind shot from the tip of her blade, it shot forward like a missile shredding the ground in its wake. The fierce wind acted like a vacuum sucking in dented while shredding it to pieces leaving nothing but dust and scrap.
Those poor training dummies, first I punched holes through them, then they were punched into ice statues, now they got sucked and shredded.
The tempest settled slowly, vanishing as if it were never there. But though the winds may not remain, evidence of its exist still exist.
On the ground it traveled over, there was a 90 meter long trench showcasing the length it traveled. Blade like cuts marred the ground and debris lined the field, from one spell it was like an entire battle played out.
"Absolutely amazing Ais!" I explained clapping my hands "You even enhanced the spell with Ariel already! Did it happen by choice or did it just happen automatically?"
Strike Air isn't supposed to look or do some of what hers did. Strike air is supposed to look like more like wisps of smoke at best as it is literally supposed to be Air. It's also not really supposed to cut things, it's more of a concussive strike than anything else, which is one of the reasons it's a hammer.
Whenever Artoria used it it was always like a blast that broke the things it hit rather than cutting.
Even then, it's still so cool seeing an attack from one of my favorite shows in person. The swirling winds, how she called out the name. It was perfect, it helps even more that Ais does look kind of like Artoria.
"…I didn't really do anything specific, I think it did it automatically." She responded after a moment of thought
Hmmm
"Perhaps it's a type of element synchronization, they are both wind based magic, the falna may have combined the usage automatically." Riveria hypothesized
It could also be because of her nature as a half wind spirit, can't really mention that though. I wonder how it would be if she fully combined her strongest use of Ariel, Strike air, and amplifying it with Avenger while the target is a dragon.
"Anyways, since I've given what I already had in mind I think it's time I start practicing my own magic." I said with a hum
Oh yeah! Let me ask before I forget.
"Oh! How does registering at the guild work?" I asked, looking at Riveria.
"Oh yes, almost forgot you haven't been registered yet. One of us will come with you to register don't worry about it." Riveria answered casually
Well I won't complain about them making things easier for me.
"Alright, can we go tomorrow? I want to check out the dungeon too after registering." I asked
"We can register you tomorrow sure, but you sure you want to go into the dungeon so soon?" She asked.
"There's no real reason to wait, I'll take the rest of the afternoon and evening to practice my technique but no amount of practice will help me get used to fighting monsters." I answered seriously
I just really want to see a monster close up, either way I highly doubt any monster on the beginning floors can break my barrier.
"…If you're sure I won't stop you, just have someone tag along." Riveria said with a soft huff.
"No problem! It can just be whoever brings me to register."

First thing I have to decide is how I want to fight in regular battles. With how my ability works I don't need to be using real spells through chants or anything like that, I can simply make constructs or blasts that'll work just fine.
But what I want is something I'll use regularly that isn't too crazy or destructive but still cool.

Wires!
Wire type weapons are some of coolest while also being underrated. Like seriously, they are used way too little in fiction, I can only name like 5 off the top of my head.
Wires made of pure destruction energy is pretty cool right?
Now, how should I do it…
First option is to do simple shape manipulation and just make the wires as is with my power of destruction.
Or to make compressed amounts of PoD into the shape of wires.
The second option would increase the power of the wires while the first option would have much less power but can be made on the fly with no hassle.
Hmmm
For now I'll use the first option.
I let my arm hang forward with my fingers aiming towards the ground. I slowly let some of my PoD leak from my finger tips and shaped them into a thin string like appearance.
The five pieces of crimson wire hung loosely from my finger tips, for now they were only a few centimeters.
Extension time!
Pouring more energy into the wires I took my time extending them while making sure to keep them at proper thinness though that technically doesn't matter much. I don't know the exact science for how thin wires cut things, but mine don't function based on physics. It's not even a true physical object, other wires cut with friction, sharpness, or momentum. Mine is magic energy that destroys even matter.
How thin it is or how taut it is doesn't really matter that much.
My wires are now about 2 meters long and maintained its thinness all throughout its length.
A good initial success.
However, the afternoon Sun still hung high in the sky.

Hours passed as I continued to practice with my wire, increasing the speed at which I could create them, manipulating there momentum and trajectory, increasing the length with minimal mana use. I can't do anything especially complicated yet but it's not bad.
As of now I can produce 5 meter long wires almost instantly, I can make them go taut and shift trajectory quickly too. I down side though is with my only a little higher than level 1 mana reserves it takes around half my mana to create 10 of those 5 meter long wires.
On the upside though, they don't require upkeep, as long as they remain connected to my body I don't need extra mana to manipulate them.
On an even better note it seems like mana regenerates pretty fast, from some inquiries I've found that the mana that should take at least 30 minutes to recover naturally takes only about 5 for me.
My skill never said anything like increased mana recovery so I developed two theories, either it's just something my body naturally developed or it is apart of my skill but just not mentioned.
But wait… Aren't stuff like skills literally just things that you're body or Soul has developed on its own then brought up by the falna? So it should definitely have been mentioned…. Weird
The Sun now hung limply on the thread called the Horizon, well at least I think so. The sky was immersed in a deep orange hue but the Sun itself can't be seen due to the walls.
There's only one thing left I want to do before stopping for today, a part of my Status that I kind of ignored, Magic Enhancement.
Well Chant empowerment too but I already know what that does, it's what I did with Zoltraak and what I attempted with World cutting slash.
I can't use magic in the conventional sense, rather, my PoD can be used to mimic spells and their properties. So while I can use basically any spell with physical properties and even conceptual properties like WCS, something like Haruhimes level boost magic is impossible. However, I can still bestow it.
That is just my hypothesis though, so I'm not fully sure.
Magic enhancement on the other hand is something's that's been on my mind for a while. At first, based on the name I thought it was like I could improve how magic functioned but that didn't seem to be the case. With my Analytical vision I could see how spells worked and replicate them but I can't really improve them in any significant way.
So now I have a different thought, does it mean object enhancement?
Picking a fist sized stone I focused on it and slowly pushed mana into it with the intent to enhance it.
…
Nothing, at least I can't really tell if anything happened just by looking at it. The weights the same, it doesn't have a glow on it or anything, just a regular stone.
I can still feel the mana I put in it is inside of it but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.
Analytical sight isn't really showing anything either.

Perhaps it's because I didn't actually enhance it with anything? I only projected a vague intent of enhancing it. The mana has no goal but rather the simple command to do something with no specification.
So let's try again, but this time with specification.
Feeling the mana in the rock I focused my magic and envisioned the type of enhancement I wanted. To keep it simple, just to make the rock heavier.
Three glowing magic circles formed around the rock, the mana in it reacting to them causing a spark like reaction to occur around the rock.
Though it was slow I could feel it, the rock getting noticeably heavier, from just a few ounces to around 5 pounds.
This could be really useful.

Bright mornings are truly a blight upon the Earth. Who truly enjoys getting blasted by the Suns death rays first thing in the morning?
While I Wallowed in my own lament someone knocked at the door.
"Ugh" I croaked pulling myself out of bed "Who is it?"
"It's me, Tiona! We're heading to the Guild today remember?" She answered
Oh yeah…
"Yeah, give me a sec to get ready." I called back to her
Thankfully, I got one of the rooms with a connected shower.
Quickly showering and getting ready I opened my door, just to be met with Tiona standing right there.
"…Did you really just stand here for the last 15 minutes?"
Her expression shifted slightly but no response came.
Anyway…
"Let's be on our way then!" I said ignoring whatever that was.
We existed the familiar house without much interaction, just a few hellos and see you laters.
Now we're on the road and this time I'm actually able to see the true level of activity of the city.
When I first got here the Sun was already going down so people were either heading home or already home. But now it's bright and early and let me say, it's absolutely bustling.
I've probably bumped into over a dozen people so far and we've only been walking for 10 minutes. Actually… some of those guys might've been trying to steal from me but I don't have anything on me so…tough for them.
It didn't take us very long to reach the Guild even with all the foot traffic. Due to not avoiding shortcuts through alleys and the like. Tiona knew the city like the back of her hand, so she took us through shortcuts I couldn't even imagine, and since she's a level 5 adventurer at this point not many people are willingly going to mess with her.
The guild I have seems to be from the anime. Fir some reason the appearance of the Guild is completely different between the sword Oratorio manga, the regular manga and the anime. Not too sure about the light novel though.
The Guild is a large building with several different color flags hanging from its frontage.
Walking through its saloon doors we were met with a pretty empty guild hall, which I guess makes sense. Once you're registered, there's not much reason to be at the guild this early unless you have an appointment with your advisor.
"Tiona? What are you doing here so early?" A pink haired girl called out
Oh? She's Misha of I remember right.
"And who's this with you?" She asked looking over at me.
"Good morning Misha! This is our newest familia member and I've come along to help her with registering!" Tiona said in her usual jovial tone
"Yo!" I said casually
"Ooooh! It's been quite a while since the Loki familia last registered a new member. She must be pretty special" she responded in interest.
Oh I definitely am pretty special, no doubts about that.
"Definitely!" Tiona said excitedly
"Let's get you registered then miss…" Misha said looking over at me
"Camellia." I answered simply
"Alright just follow me. I'm not really doing anything right now so I'll set you up." She said walking towards one of the empty reception desks.
Reaching the desks she heads behind it and ducks down into what I assume is a cabinet, then comes back up with a piece of paper in hand.
"Here, if you have any questions ask me." Misha said, handing me the paper and a pen.
This is pretty barebones, all it is is general information about yourself. Name, age, and the like, then familia affiliation and any other background information.
"Is all of this necessary?" I asked pointing at the background information section
"Not really, the only necessary parts are name, familia affiliation, and level." Misha replied
Good, I'd rather them not have my village on file.
Filling out my name, age, and familia affiliation I left everything else blank.
I don't know much about Ouranos but, I don't trust him in the slightest. So the less that can be used against me the better.
Handing back the registration paper I slowly flipped the pen between my fingers while waiting.
"You're all set for registering. Will you be requesting an advisor as well?" Misha asked
Stopping my fiddling I placed the pen back on the desk.
"Not at this moment, I'll see about requesting one next time. Thanks for the help" I answered
The spacing out Tiona finally popped back into our reality and asked "So we're done here now right?" Her tone trying to mask her boredom
Though we've only been here for a few minutes.
"Yeah, let's head over there now." I answered
"Thanks for helping us Misha!" Tiona said starting her stride towards the door.
"Anytime Tiona." She said casually.
Exiting the building we started out "journey" to Babel.

This took longer than I intended it to, but I hope you find it enjoyable non the less. The next story getting a chapter should be Existence then after that it will be Ophis then the cycle will continue like that.
That does depend on if I end up fixating on one of them and ignore the rest 😀.
Is it just me that really like Wires as weapons? It's really underused and underrated.
