The Dawang Mountain Villa was perched on the very peak of Mount Dawang, effectively occupying an entire mountaintop. It was enclosed by a white wall that undulated like a coiling Giant Dragon. Inside the walls, ancient trees reached for the sky, the grass was as lush as a carpet, and flowers bloomed everywhere, their fragrance thick in the air. There were rockeries with flowing water, secluded winding paths, strange protruding rock formations, a canopy of vines overhead, and pavilions that would appear and disappear with the mountain breeze, which roared like ocean waves.
