At that moment, Alwyn Briarwood's head buzzed, and his face inexplicably felt burning hot, as if he had been slapped.
The trap he had meticulously orchestrated had been anticipated and exploited early on, making all his efforts seem nothing more than a clownish spectacle without causing Carson Flores any real harm.
Seeing the three Great Demons approaching to encircle him, he couldn't spare another thought and turned to flee towards the Demon Race.
In a short time, the demon squad had been slaughtered miserably, with heavy casualties. Even many top-tier fighters were dead, and morale had fully collapsed. Everyone was fleeing for their lives, with no concern for a strategic retreat.
If Alwyn Briarwood didn't escape now, he might not be able to, because he could already see several powerful immortals defeating their opponents and heading towards him.
To capture the leader is the key, he thought, and clearly the opposition thought the same.
