With the expedition imminent, most people were rather excited. After all, exploring such an undeveloped Secret Realm comes with many opportunities to acquire valuable items, which are very difficult to obtain in the outside world through mere strength.
If luck is on one's side and one obtains some high-level valuable items, they can exchange them with the Sect for huge amounts of cultivation resources, or even some special items to aid their cultivation, enhancing their strength or even their realm.
