Kaito stood quietly, watching as silent tears rolled down Kaguya's face.
"My children..."
Kaguya stepped through the irregularly shaped black spatial gate and appeared instantly before Madara and Hashirama, lifting their chins with both hands.
"Hagoromo... Hamura..."
Kaito tilted his head slightly as he observed the scene, raising an eyebrow.
"Hey."
Madara gazed at the woman before him—the progenitor of chakra, the "Rabbit Goddess," the legendary Ōtsutsuki Kaguya—and slowly curled his lips into a smirk.
"Have you already forgotten what your own children looked like? Progenitor of Chakra."
"Progenitor of Chakra?"
Hashirama's eyes flickered as he studied the goddess-like being before him.
"What exactly do you mean by that? You've been calling her that since earlier."
"Brother!"
"Aniki!"
Unlike their composed older brothers, Izuna and Tobirama were visibly tense.
Danger.
From the moment this so-called "Progenitor of Chakra" appeared, an unprecedented sense of peril had surged through them, their instincts screaming warnings in their minds.
At that moment, the sorrow and tears on Kaguya's face as she gazed at Madara and Hashirama abruptly receded like a tide, replaced by an expression of displeasure at being slighted.
Yet even this displeasure felt superficial, devoid of any genuine emotion.
"I am Ōtsutsuki Kaguya."
She withdrew her hands and slowly levitated into the air, her face now revealing a haughtiness that was unmistakably real.
"All chakra in this world belongs to me."
"What do you mean?"
The others further away glanced around at the endless expanse of giant trees and the rows of people suspended from them.
"Has everyone's... chakra been taken away?"
"I have already said it." Kaguya cast an annoyed look at the crowd. "All chakra in this world is mine by right."
Shi from Kumogakure, who had been standing close to the Raikage A due to the earlier barrier, turned to glance at A before stepping forward cautiously.
"Even if you say that... everyone worked hard to cultivate their own chakra..."
"No one in this world—"
Kaguya extended her right hand from her wide sleeve, and a gray streak pierced through Shi's chest.
"—may defy me."
"That was—"
Those with ocular abilities clearly saw the attack—a gray bone shot from Kaguya's palm.
"Killing Ash Bones."
Kaguya looked down at Shi coldly.
In an instant, Shi's body withered like rotting wood before disintegrating into dust.
"SHI!!!"
A and Darui reached out, but only grasped a handful of ash.
Silence.
Horror.
Everyone bore witness to the scene, an overwhelming shadow of dread settling over them.
"This jutsu..." Kaito stroked his chin. "It seems the Kaguya clan of Kirigakure are also descendants of the Progenitor of Chakra?"
His words drew everyone's attention, and they stared blankly at him as he spoke so casually.
"Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, mother of the Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo, and his brother Hamura."
Kaito continued unhurriedly.
"Here's what we know: the Uchiha, Senju, and Uzumaki clans are descendants of Hagoromo, while the Hyūga, with their Byakugan, are descendants of Hamura."
Many faces paled at this revelation, their eyes darting between Kaguya and certain individuals in the crowd.
This was too shocking.
No wonder there are so many bloodline limits in the shinobi world that defy common sense!
Many thought the same thing at once.
Yet, what was even more surprising was that Kaguya did not interrupt Kaito's speech. Instead, she observed him with faint curiosity.
"And most importantly," Kaito went on, "Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, the Progenitor of Chakra, is originally an outsider who descended upon this world a thousand years ago. She controlled the Divine Tree to plunder the planet's energy. Later, in her attempt to gather all chakra into herself, she was sealed away on the moon by her own children, Hagoromo and Hamura."
Kaguya's brows furrowed slightly.
"Do you understand now?" The golden energy of Ryūmyaku surrounding Kaito grew even brighter. "This is an invasion and plunder from beyond our world—the origin of chakra and shinobi."
Silence.
Whether they had known the truth before or were hearing it for the first time, everyone stared at him in silence.
"An onmyōji?"
Kaguya suddenly spoke, studying Kaito with a peculiar gaze as her long, flowing white hair—longer than her own body—drifted behind her.
"Yes." Kaito met her gaze, his expression calm and fearless. "I am an inheritor of the onmyōji arts—Kaito."
"The onmyōji... I remember that powerful planetary guardian, Abe no Seimei." Kaguya's demeanor became slightly more serious. "How unexpected. My descendant... you have escaped the grasp of chakra."
"There was no helping it. I was born with a chakra-insulating constitution." Kaito smiled lightly.
"Perhaps it is a miracle."
Kaguya's scrutiny of him grew even more penetrating.
"Then, my descendant... what do you intend to do, standing before me now?"
Kaito's expression turned solemn as he spread his arms and spoke with unwavering clarity.
"O invader of this planet, beneath the moon that once served as your prison, let us reignite the bloody war that spanned millennia! The undying will of guardians who slumbered for a thousand years shall awaken! Those lost in the allure of power shall find enlightenment once more! The pulse of this world shall guide the path forward! And our journey—led by the bonds of our hearts—shall transcend time and space, until we set foot upon the sea of stars!"
"..."
For a moment, Kaguya was stunned.
"..."
For a moment, everyone present stared blankly at Kaito's golden, radiant silhouette, utterly bewildered.
Except for Minato.
Damn it, Kaito!! That was so cool!!!
Minato took a deep breath, his eyes sparkling like stars.
I need to come up with an even cooler line!!
He began muttering under his breath.
In this field—I, the Fourth Hokage, the trendsetter who has always led the way—Namikaze Minato will never lose!!!
"What's going on?"
Those around Minato suddenly sensed an intense surge of fighting spirit emanating from him.
As expected of the Fourth/ Minato/ Sensei/ Dad—he's so fired up!!
Watching Minato's demeanor, the others suddenly felt reinvigorated as well.
That's my dad for you!
Naruto gazed at his father with admiration.
This is what a Hokage is—someone who effortlessly inspires everyone to move forward!!
Minato is as reliable as ever!
Jiraiya grinned proudly.
As expected of this sage's most outstanding disciple!
Tch.
Only Kushina sneered internally, her lips twitching.
This guy is definitely thinking something embarrassing!! Every month, there are always a few days when I seriously consider divorce!!
At that moment, Izuna, standing behind Kaito, spoke up softly.
Glaring at Kaito from the corner of his eye, he gritted his teeth and spat out a single, deeply irritated phrase.
" Please speak human language."
