Chapter 13 - The King of Shadow Realm

Fang had no interest in Tony's petty affairs. It was Tony who was heartbroken now, not Fang himself.

"You're the only one still trying to play tricks," Fang remarked.

"Don't underestimate me, Fang. I'm not someone who can be easily manipulated," Fang retorted.

Tony saw this as an opportunity for revenge, but Fang was well aware of his intentions. He had prepared a small revenge of his own.

"Let's put an end to this between friends," Fang said, signaling for them to stop.

As for the potential losses, Fang didn't care. "What does it have to do with me, Fang?" he shrugged.

"You weren't a threat at first, but if I can defeat the Iron Monger with a single punch, it'll be over for you," Fang taunted.

Tony realized that he was the one who would end up heartbroken in the end.

"Some people just enjoy being mean," Fang remarked

observing the banter between the two.

The chief scientist couldn't help but worry about his team as he raised his hand. "Mr. Tony, may I send a text message to the scientific team and ask them to evacuate?"

The impending war would soon engulf the area, and scientists without proper protection would meet a miserable fate.

Fang glanced at the system time - [countdown: 8 minutes 01 seconds].

Tony looked at Fang, waiting for his decision. Fang was the one leading this matter, and Tony would support whatever decision he made.

Fang waved his hand nonchalantly. "Go ahead, tell them to leave immediately."

The chief scientist was overjoyed and quickly expressed his gratitude before rushing to send a message to his team.

Tony looked at Fang in surprise. "I thought you would be cold-blooded and heartless in a situation like this. You could have kept him silent."

Fang's eyes remained calm. "I am the king of the Shadow Realm. There's no need to harm ordinary people for no reason," he explained.

Fang believes he possesses great compassion, choosing not to forsake his humanity to humiliate ordinary individuals.

Tony gazed at Fang with astonishment, as though encountering this magician anew.

The King of the Shadow Realm?

Goodness, this individual appears even more formidable than I had envisioned!

In the basement of the Ark reactor, in the forging area of the Iron Monger, a scientist received a text message. Shocked, he quickly covered it up, but discreetly alerted his colleague.

The other scientist looked at his companion, equally surprised, and then saw the text message. Within minutes, all the scientists in the hall were aware of the chief's message.

They exchanged glances, realizing that the chief and his assistant had already fled.

In a panic, the scientists began finding excuses to leave:

"Chairman, my wife just gave birth! I need to rush to the hospital!"

"Chairman, my son was in a car accident! I must go to the hospital!"

"Chairman, my mother is on her deathbed! I need to see her one last time!"

Initially, Obadiah agreed, thinking that the plan was already complete and there was no need to bother the scientists.

However, when three or four people started making excuses to leave, Obadiah sensed that something was amiss. He grabbed one of them and demanded an explanation.

The unlucky scientist looked to his companions for help, but they were too focused on escaping to notice. A female student, who had a good relationship with the unlucky scientist, grabbed Obadiah's arm and urgently informed him, "Chairman, it's Tony! He's at the entrance of the science and technology building!"

Obadiah released the hapless scientist, his eyes filled with shock. "Why is he here?"

The unlucky scientist, now on the ground, was helped up by the female student. They quickly fled the scene together.

Obadiah felt a sense of unease, unsure of what was happening. Why did Tony suddenly appear when he was supposed to be enjoying himself with strippers at the villa?

Obadiah looked at the Iron Monger, his eyes filled with determination. "No matter what you're planning, Tony, today will be your end."

He headed straight for the Iron Monger, activating the auxiliary machine to put on his armor.

...

At the entrance of the technology building, Fang waved his hand, instructing everyone who had fled to leave and not interfere with the upcoming battle.

The chief scientist expressed his gratitude and led his team to evacuate quickly.

Tony's playful demeanor faded, replaced by seriousness. "The Iron Monger has been activated. Are you sure you don't need the Mark III armor?"

Fang, confident in his evolved body, which contained immense power, smiled. "Bring out the Mark III armor."

Tony's face lit up, and he motioned for his bodyguards to bring the truck over. The rear compartment was opened, revealing a sci-fi mechanical assembly platform with a set of black and gold steel armor.

Fang stood before the Iron Armor, his arm raised as he clenched his fist with determination.

Tony: "What's going on?"

Tonu: "Enough! Cease this madness!"

Tony: "You've crossed the line! What are you thinking?"

"Boom!"

The truck shook violently, propelling forward for over 20 meters. A distinct fist mark imprinted on the chest of the black and gold steel armor on the assembly platform.

Fang looked at Tony with disdain: "No one can withstand it?"

Tony's breath caught in his throat: "What in the world are you doing? This is the greatest humiliation I've ever experienced! And how did you manage to crack my battle armor with a single punch? You brute!"

Fang clicked his tongue: "Test the limits of your defense. I can shatter your suit with a mere light punch, and the Iron Demon Armor King likely shares the same fate."

Fang anticipated an intriguing battle as he shattered Tony's battle armor into pieces.

"Boom!"

Underground, a series of terrifying crackling sounds reverberated. The ground in front of the science and technology building bulged and exploded, revealing a massive silver-white mechanical arm. A commanding voice emerged from the depths:

"Haha, Tony, you've come to me willingly. You're truly a gift from above!"

Tony remained composed. Witnessing Fang's "light punch" dismantle his armor, he realized that unless Obadiah transformed into a genetically mutated creature capable of surviving in the universe, he wouldn't stand a chance against Fang's close-range assaults.

The Iron Demon Armor King emerged from the ground, its red mechanical eyes emitting a menacing glow: "Haha, what's this? Why are you wearing battle armor?"

Obadiah was taken aback, unprepared for Tony's strategic approach.

Fang gestured for Tony to step back and refrain from interfering in their battle.

Tony watched as the Iron Armored King obediently positioned itself two meters away from Fang. Shaking his head, Tony retreated, creating an open battlefield.

Obadiah's arrogant laughter echoed from the Iron Demon Armor King: "Haha, my God, do you foolish Chinese man truly believe you can buy time for your pitiful master?"

Tony, who had retreated twenty meters, stood in shock. He couldn't fathom why some individuals would willingly subject themselves to prolonged suffering.

Fang's smile twisted with rage.

The Iron Armor King extended its mechanical arm, sarcastically pointing its index finger at Fang: "Sick man of East Asia? Do you truly believe you're worthy of standing before me?"

Fang's smile now bore a mix of fury.

Tony instinctively took another ten steps back.

Fang reached out, firmly gripping the Iron Demon Armor King's finger, a ferocious smile on his face: "I will make you regret ever setting foot in this world."

He uttered these words in Chinese.

The Iron Demon Armor King was taken aback, unable to comprehend how this young man possessed the audacity to challenge his sixty-eight-year-old comrade.

If it were Tony who had come prepared to face him, there might have been a glimmer of hope.

The Iron Demon Armor King emitted an incomprehensible roar.

Driven by rage, Fang hoisted the Iron Demon Armor King like a car, hurling it six times with gusts of wind swirling around.

Tony's mouth hung open as he instinctively retreated alongside the surrounding agents and special forces.

Everyone withdrew to a safe distance of over a hundred meters, their jaws dropping in unison as they exclaimed:

"Oh my God!"
