Chapter 4 - My Knife Moves Faster Than Eyes Can Follow

In that fleeting moment, he only managed to half-turn his body.

"Shua!"

A gleaming katana pressed against Raza's neck.

Raza lay half-propped in a pool of blood, frozen in place.

The blade nicked Raza's neck as he quickly dropped the submachine gun, pleading, "I surrender! Please, spare me!"

The Shadowkhan, with blood-red eyes, subtly raised Raza's neck with the katana, signaling him to rise.

Understanding the gesture, Raza stood, hands stained with blood, and raised them high.

The Shadowkhan sheathed his katana, gestured for Raza to follow, and then turned, heading toward the exit, seemingly unconcerned if Raza might pick up the submachine gun and shoot.

Raza managed a wry smile, feeling utterly powerless and defeated.

He hadn't even sensed the enemy's approach, and worse, his reaction time and agility were no match for the enemy's lethal speed.

Tony's Mark 1 was successfully initiated, eager to leave the scene.

Fang strolled ahead with hands in pockets, his loyal Shadowkhan forming a protective shield around him.

Donning the Mark One, Tony whistled confidently, "Hey there, what's your name?"

Fang, with lazy swagger, replied, "Fang."

Tony chuckled, "Fang? Are you from Japan?"

Instantly, the five Shadowkhan accompanying Fang turned sharply, glaring at Tony with murderous intent.

Fang's lazy demeanor vanished, replaced by a hostile gaze as he growled, "Do you want to die?"

Tony shuddered, feeling a wave of killing intent, and nervously quipped, "How about I sweeten the deal? I'll throw in a sports car and arrange a date with your favorite celebrity."

Referring to a Chinese person as Japanese was as offensive as calling them a demon.

Yin Sen, standing behind Tony, wiped his forehead, soaked in cold sweat.

Fang sneered, "Forget it. Upgrade Mark Three to Mark Four before delivering it."

Tony, feigning ease, agreed, "Sure, no problem."

Sensing the tense atmosphere, Yin Sen changed the subject, "Why is it so quiet outside?"

Tony caught the scent of blood, realizing the situation outside.

Without a word, Fang continued toward the cave entrance, prompting Tony and Yin Sen to follow.

They reached the entrance, finding a flat yellow plain with neatly arranged arms boxes and kneeling members of the Ten Rings.

Raza knelt in front, his hands covering his head.

Nearby, several corpses lay with their chests ripped open, the horror of their final moments etched on their faces.

The five Shadowkhan knelt, awaiting their dark king.

Tony marveled, "Five sword-wielding ninjas subdued so many? Fang, your men are better than sharpshooters!"

Fang, lost in thought, remembered something and asked Raza, "Do you want to know who hired us to kidnap you?"

Feeling emboldened by his men's control, Tony vowed, "I'll make him pay the ultimate price!"

A Shadowkhan rose, katana poised at Raza's neck.

Panicked, Raza blurted, "It was Obadiah! He paid us to kidnap you. Tony! We didn't kill you, just kidnapped you. Spare me, please!"

Tony, anger and disbelief on his face, opened his mask, revealing his full fury.

Obadiah, the man who had been a father figure to him, was now revealed as his would-be killer.

Fang, detecting Tony's despair, observed with interest.

As the dark energy within Tony grew, Fang saw an opportunity: "This is just the beginning. When you return, Obadiah will oust you from the company."

Having traveled through time, Fang knew of Obadiah's villainy, He was the mastermind behind the scenes, providing support to the terrorist group and also My Knife Moves Faster Than Eyes Can Followthe villain Iron Monger

Tony, his eyes ablaze with determination, declared, "He won't get away with this!"

The company was his father's legacy, and Obadiah's betrayal was unforgivable.

Impressed, Fang thought, "Not bad."

From now on, Tony was under his protection.

No one would dare harm him without facing Fang's wrath.

Fang grinned, relishing the possibilities that lay ahead.

Tony glared at Fang, his eyes burning with disbelief and anger. "No, I refuse to believe it. Obadiah could never do this!"

Fang's demeanor remained calm as he replied, "You'll see the truth for yourself when we return."

Meanwhile, Raza, still on his knees, mustered a weak smile and pleaded, "Please, my lord, everything I've said is true. Spare me."

Without a word, Fang signaled to one of his Shadowkhan, who swiftly sheathed his katana. The blade had barely left Raza's neck.

Gasping for air, Raza clutched his chest wound, his eyes pleading for mercy. "I swear, everything I told you is true..."

Fang's expression remained unchanged as he calmly stated, "I believe you."

With a thud, Raza collapsed to the ground, the hopelessness in his eyes now frozen in place.

Turning back to Tony, Fang's tone softened. "Young man, the path we're on is lit by the moonlight. Do you still wish to linger here?"

Tony, realizing the danger Fang posed, felt a chill run down his spine. His Mark One suit suddenly seemed inadequate against Fang's lethal speed and precision.

Fang's ability to command such a force with just a subtle glance was truly terrifying.
