The dragons of this realm were somewhat unique in appearance, an adult would be about the same size as an elephant, their bodies were covered in scales, except that the end of their tails and entire wings, were adorned with long feathers that were so flexible that they could almost pass off as fur at a glance.
As a female, this particular dragon lacked it, but male dragons, especially those who ruled over a pride, would actually have a feathered mane covered their slender neck, and would also tend to grow feathers in other parts of their bodies, giving them a very distinctive looks compared to the females and wandering males.
