Another valuable part of its body is the tail, it's an extremely dense and durable set of bones, skin and scales that form its signature weapon aside from its stinky corrosive venom.
The Warbat can travel at immense speeds relative to it's size and uses it's tail to whip at it's rival warbat during mating season or to scare of predators.
You might be thinking, what the hell can even hunt down a giant beast like that? And no the Leafwings don't count, this is an extremely rare occurrence.
Well, an example would be- *Whip*
"Get your ass back to work Kafka-kun, unless you want a lesser cut of the grilled Warbat meat for tonight" Hewder says with a commanding tone, smacking me lightly on the ass with her Lizard Tail.

The sun had set just a little bit, it created a huge black and orange canvas to the sky, the stars shone brightly on the darker side, as though to tell me that even if the day has ended, the night isn't easily beat when it comes to the beauty department.
2 days have passed since we started this operation, and I gotta say it's not all that bad, even though we start at 4 am and end at 5 pm, the food and end pay is what makes it worth it all: 30 million Yen once the job is done, that's enough to fund my relatively lavish lifestyle as a single man If you take into account the funds and prep money I spend every year for joining the JAKDF so i believe it'll last me for 3 to 4 years, 5 years if I'm being frugal.
Everyday we get to eat luxurious dishes made from Warbat Meat, haa, wonderful, the marbling of the meat is what makes it carry so much flavor and tenderness.
Anyways, I look at my wristwatch to look at the time

The loud alarm sounded off in the distance
"Alright everyone! Dinner time! Good work with the dismantling everyone! We'll continue this tomorrow! At 4 o'clock in the morning!"

A cacophony of conversations faded into the background as I was walking to the cafeteria that was set up when we had arrived.
"Kafka-san!!! Over here!!" I look to my left and see Viida calling out to me. I saw Quirk next to her, stuffing his face with one giant Warbat Pepper Steak like a death jackal.

A low vibrating sound was heard throughout the camp, in the center of said sound was Shinomiya Hikari, holding her spear in front of her with her eyes closed, waves of invisible energy swept everywhere, however everyone just kept on eating and going about their business like we weren't in the middle of a dangerous forest, never even the slightest bothered because what she was doing is exactly the reason why everyone was so relaxed.
"There, the area should be free of those pesky night predators, they should know not to mess with the territory of a Numbered Kaiju" said Shinomiya as she casually walked back into her tent.
"That was a domain establishment just now, yeah? I understand that she is doing it to protect us but Why is she doing it like every 10 hours or so?" I asked Viida
"Well it is temporary so that it won't disrupt the ecosystem, that said 2 days ago was my first experience with it, after all there's only so much that researching online can give you *nom*" she replies while biting onto her food, smiling to herself while looking at a signed photo on the table close to her plate.
"Hmmm, so you finally got her signature huh?"
"Yup, it was such a pain to find the time, Hewder can be such a jerk sometimes"
I continued to eat my food leisurely and finished with a big stomach, we were talking with the others for a few minutes in the cafeteria, all peaceful and normal until-

A roar was heard near our camp
Everyone looked at a dark corner of the forest, where the sound came from

Hmm? How did a monster get up so close to camp even after I just established a Domain?
My eyes narrowed 'No, this must be it'
"Men, search the area, go in groups of 5 and alert me if it is found, and if you can, kill the source of the disturbance" I commanded the troops that were assigned to me

The synchronous thuds of their footsteps and the clanking of their weapons made the workers feel reassured that we were taking this slight breach seriously.
I readied my spear "No need to worry, everyone, we will take care of this shortly", and went with my men to find the source.
Protecting the workers is one of the top priorities, though to be honest, This kind of work is usually WAY too below my pay grade, if it wasn't for the other objective. I wouldn't be here doing such a thing. Which is why making them feel safe the least I could do for them for being dragged in the higher-ups' schemes.
Finding the actual source of the Energy Spike was my true mission, because even though it was only for a split second, the energy spike detected around this area was higher than any recorded Daikaju bar the Alpha Titans in the long history of The Japanese Empire.
And this only meant one thing: a new Alpha Candidate had just been born.
Periodic births of an entirely new Alpha titan candidate was a normal thing even though we do not know how and when they will come to be, we do know where they appear based on absurd Fortitude measurements.
And we, the JAKDF were tasked with the elimination of any and all newborn Alpha Titans during times where Kaiju No.8 is unavailable
And for this to happen so close to the borders AND on this level of Fortitude? Such a thing was unprecedented, so unless a new Kaiju No.8 Vessel was chosen, killing the source of this energy spike was top priority.
The reason they even sent a Disposal company with the military is to show to the public that everything is fine. That It was only a simple mission of obtaining materials outside the border, we were lucky that a Warbat corpse showed up.
If it weren't for the Leafwings, I would've thought that whatever was the source of this energy spike had grown enough strength to kill it in such a short amount of time, Thank the Alphas that that was not the case.
"Captain Shinomiya, we found trails" said one of my men
"Show me"
We started sprinting towards the place, I arrive to see the trails they found.
Monster footprints, fresh and wet from the mud, jumping on the ground, and into the tree before connecting to another tree, and so we began to follow it and at the end of it, found a pile of blanket wrapped pillows
"Eh?" A dumfounded look formed on my face and possibly everyone else too.
