Chapter 12 - Chapter 12 – A Fight Outside of Greystadt

Third-person POV

The fight now took place in northern plain outskirts of the coastal bay city. The three hooded cultists were fuming with anger at Roel and Kazaki, who were pointing their main guns at them. The three cultists are:

Kan König – an AOBF cultist and swordsman and gunner

Irene Aleksandrina – an AOBF cultist and a fire mage with a sniper rifle

Majd Bun – an AOBF cultist, shady dealer, and gunman with a machine gun

"You dared to steal our brothers' skins and wear them for your blasphemous amusements…" Irene hissed while holding her magical stuff with fire magic scorching and ready to attack.

Majd aimed his machine gun at the two Vall boys. "You better pay up, brats."

And so, both sides had a high-stakes gun fight complete with blades and magic. Kazaki fired his AK-47 with the Night Wolf's dark Shadow magic while Roel hurled two smoke canisters at the AOBF side. The non-lethal smoke hissed as it blocked the sight of the other side.

 "Damn it!" Irene shouted.

 "These nasty kids!" Kan hissed.

"Don't let them have the upper edge!" Majd shouted. "Do this for the demon lord!"

But then, Kan got shot in the right leg by Roel's submachine gun complete with the Thunder Dragon's Wind Attack and the Deep Vision for accuracy. The bullet was twice its usual velocity, making the shot fast and painful. "My leg!" Kan shrieked as he dropped his handy Uzi submachine gun.

Irene came to his aid, while Majd threw a special purple smoke canister at Roel and Kazaki, so they would escape with his teleportation magic. "We'll make you pay for this!" Majd's voice screamed as they disappeared from the scene.

It was over in 5 minutes, but Roel and Kazaki were in one piece.

Taking off his balaclava, Roel said, "Are these people…?"

"The Ancient Order of the Black Feathers…?" Kazaki added.

They had no idea that they just had a battle with the soldiers of the AOBF. Despite that, they headed back to the marketplace of Greystadt to finish their shopping trip with their siblings while planning to spill all these to them.

"They knew we fought monsters often…" Roel said as his adrenaline was withdrawing.

"But they had no idea that we were fight a bunch of shady cultists…" responded Kazaki while readjusting the strap of his RPG.
