Joy rose in Naisha's chest.
All this time, she had been indirectly helped by Aksai's luck and success.
In a way, she had been "carried" while Aksai leveled up on his own.Because of that, she had always been thankful to him. But this time was different.
This was the first time Aksai had helped her directly. As a result, her gratitude toward him reached a new peak.
She stood up quickly, about to bow and thank Aksai. But before she could say anything, Aksai smiled faintly and raised his hand.
"No need to thank me. Yet," he said. "I have one more surprise for both of you."
Naisha froze in place.
Aksai then turned his gaze toward Jina. With another wave of his hand, roots and vines rose from the ground behind her as well, forming a second wooden platform.
He gestured lightly.
"Sit."
Jina's heart skipped a beat. She did not hesitate. She stepped onto the platform and sat down. Aksai then reached into his spatial gourd once more. This time, he took out two strange objects.
