There are tales of dragon riders of the old that could be found in history. They were stories told of stoic men who practiced abstinence of every nature in order to hone and sharpen their abilities as riders.
It was during the time of the third royalty council when the fiercest war against the witches was fought. Seasoned riders castrated themselves, took the way of the monk, and pledged their honor to Gloptra the god just so they could obtain extraordinary abilities riders could only dream of.
In battle against the witches and what became known as the first bloodiest war, those riders rode their dragons for days without rest and any sign of fatigue. They were so ferocious in battle that the witches that fought against them recoiled back at the mere sight of their bloodied state while they dived for their enemies without rest.
