Hong Yu was interrogated by the Emperor once, but nothing more was extracted. However, the Emperor didn't kill her directly; instead, he imprisoned her in the Heavenly Prison.
It was Yang Ruxin's first time entering the Heavenly Prison. Although the name sounded a bit grand, all the prisons under heaven were more or less the same: eerie and dim.
Hong Yu was kept in a solitary cell, with conditions much better than others. At the very least, there was a wooden bed inside, covered with thick straw, and there was even a quilt. Moreover, she showed no signs of being tortured.
"Looks like you're doing quite well here," Yang Ruxin said with a smile, standing outside the cell and looking at the woman sitting on the bed inside.
"Do you want to come in and try it?" Hong Yu raised her eyes. The woman who used to be radiant was now haggard.
"What a pity, I didn't break the law, so such an opportunity might not come my way."
Hong Yu snorted coldly, "Then what are you here for?"
