Huo Zhanting glanced at the Black Card in An Lan's hand.
"Take it, just keep it with you. Rest assured, the owner of Guiyun Mountain is pretty slick, he doesn't do bad business."
"Okay." An Lan nodded and put away the Black Card.
After having her fill, An Lan sat in the seat and soon felt drowsy. She yawned and leaned back in her seat, her head nodding off bit by bit. Huo Zhanting, seeing her like this, tenderly covered her with a small blanket.
An Lan's eyes fluttered open groggily because of Huo Zhanting's movements.
Huo Zhanting raised his hand and gently rubbed her head, his voice deep and soft, "Sleep, I'll wake you when we get there."
An Lan affectionately nuzzled Huo Zhanting's hand and fell into a secure, deep sleep.
