When Neil mentioned that he wanted to fire Sharon, Sandra quickly agreed. She frowned and asked,
"Before your family introduced her, did you know she was so... reckless?"
She tried her best to choose a word that wasn't too harsh.
"I probably didn't," Neil replied, adjusting the gold-rimmed glasses on his nose.
If his sister had known Sharon would behave this way, she never would've recommended her.
Clearly, military life and civilian life are very different.
"I'm just worried about retaliation from that powerful family," said Liam with concern.
"Sharon attacked someone from a rich and influential background. Do you really think they'll let that go?"
"We'll see how it plays out," Neil said coldly, his eyes flashing. Then he added apologetically,
"Sorry. My female bodyguard caused trouble for everyone."
He could only hope Ford wouldn't take down the entire firm because of this.
"It's okay. We know this wasn't your intention," Sandra reassured him, the first to speak up.
