As he shadowed the Vel'ryr soldier, the soldier's fear became more evident. He glanced nervously over his shoulder, his hand hovering near his weapon. Dante seemed to sense his unease but offered no words of reassurance. Instead, he continued to examine the personal palace with a quiet intensity.
The hallways they traversed were grand in their opulence. The walls were decorated with a multitude of paintings, some depicting former emperors and warriors of renown. The floors were made of polished marble, reflecting all light from the towering chandeliers that hung from the ceiling.
