What was a Succubus... or even an Incubus?
A sexual predator?
That's what everyone called them. That's the label slapped onto their kind without pause, without understanding. A name passed down from mouth to mouth, whispered with disgust or curiosity. A creature of lust, of seduction—something to be feared, judged, used... and discarded.
But if someone truly looked deeper—if they tried to peel away that heavy, toxic title—they might see something different.
They weren't that far removed from the rest.
Elves lived on fruits and fresh herbs, savoring the sweetness of nature.
Wolves hunted with fangs and claws, devouring the warm flesh of their prey.
Dragons? They were brutal, consuming live, screaming creatures with raw, savage hunger.
Every species needed something to live. Some ate food. Others drank blood.
But succubi and incubi... they were born with a hunger of their own. A hunger centered not on flesh or fruit, but on desire.
On the raw, intimate urges of men and women.
