Chapter 4
Reading the last book, I came to understand three things.
One, the man who left this book for me, the supposed father of this body, died in vain and in disappointment. His dream of figuring out this state, which was addressed as the 'state of spiritualization,' ended with his death.
Two, it wasn't just his dream but the dream of many before him. One could say it was a pipe dream, with only a theory behind it, but no evidence or practical attempt. For several generations, years unaccounted for, they researched this state but couldn't reach it.
Ever.
The reason? Well, it was a lengthy one, and it could take some time, so I left it for later.
The third and last thing I gleaned from the book was an idea.
"An idea is all it takes." The words left behind by my master. He never taught me anything but let me figure my own path out. He would always say that his teachings would belong to him, but what I would make of his teachings would be mine and mine alone.
