The monster's head swung back and forth as it snapped at the undead, its jaws crushing bones with sickening crunches.
Its legs stomped and kicked, sending undead flying in all directions. But Sebastian noticed something—a slight hesitation, a small hitch in its movements when it turned to the right.
"There," Sebastian said, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "That's its ticket to hell."
The creature was having a hard time moving its right arm. The rune master didn't know exactly why, but whatever the reason, it was making it more difficult for the beast to move it smoothly.
However, it was clear this was thanks to the undead. After the fight with the Echo Revenant, the monster wasn't in this condition.
Though, that situation didn't mean the beast was that weaker than before. The rune master still had to wait for the right opportunity to strike, and nothing ensured it would come at all.
