Sebastian was doing a lot during this fight because he wasn't only fighting, surviving, and killing; he was also observing.
Calvin's and Leo's skills were too good to not copy them. If he got the Quiver Lord's skills and the Grave Whisperer's skills, he would severely increase his battle prowess.
But it wasn't simple. He could only glance at his party members, and understanding how mana behaved in that small fraction of time wasn't simple.
Sebastian avoided another attack.

He used his Cinder Blast spell again, but the damned Sand Skimmers avoided the fire.
"This is going nowhere."
Leo knocked an arrow toward Kenway's position, hoping to kill one of the Sand Skimmers and ease the pressure on the knight.
His armor remained strong, and so far, the Sand Skimmers have not drawn his blood. Although Kenway's shield of virtue had not yet shattered, its passive effect proved insufficient in providing him with complete protection.
