Chapter 185 - Absolute Author

In a strange and mysterious place, there was something truly magical. Books were everywhere. Books to the right. Books to the left. Books above the head. Books below the feet. Tall, never-ending shelves stretched so high that it felt like they were touching the sky. There were no walls, no ceiling—just more and more books, spreading endlessly in every direction like a dream without borders.

In the middle of this endless library, someone sat quietly at a wooden desk. It was a figure made of soft, glowing light. She had the shape of a young girl, maybe a teenager.

Her body shimmered gently, like moonlight reflecting on calm water. She didn't speak. Her hand kept moving, writing with a shining feather pen.

Scribble... Scribble... Scribble...

"After that night, Asmodeus had no choice but to give his entire life to one goal—to hunt down the twin true dragons and discover a way to turn a human into a true dragon."

Scribble... Scribble... Scribble...

"One of the most suitable humans, Asta Kugarashi, was kidnapped and tortured for 6 and half months. Nobody expected it, but he did the impossible. He stayed alive. Not only that—he survived even after being injected with true dragon blood, something no human or any other species could handle."

Scribble... Scribble...

"Asta—no—Scarlett Nova, was later attacked by one of Asmodeus's most loyal followers. The goal was to kill Aoto and also to see just how much power Scarlett could use."

Scribble... Scribble...

"But that battle took place in Oblivion's world. A place where all magic and supernatural power were strictly forbidden. If Oblivion noticed it, the punishment would be worse than death itself. Because of that, he couldn't even use 1% of his true power and got killed by Scarlett."

Scribble... Scribble... Scribble...

"Scarlett believed she had won. She thought she had destroyed all threats and then traveled to a world filled with magic, fantasy, and wonder, thinking it was her own decision. But it wasn't. It was Asmodeus's plan all along—he sent her there on purpose, so she could grow stronger in a place without Oblivion's rules and fully awaken her true power."

The glowing girl's hands didn't stop for a second.

Scribble... Scribble... Scribble...

"Scarlett defeated Darwitz army with great injuries and escaped towards demon realme thinking she almost died, but who tell her that she can't die that easily!"

"I don't like her high ego, it's even higher than mine. I thought of giving my blessing to Lórien, but that bastard first demon king, Avion, blocked it. As expected of someone who alone battled with all six archangels despite having a handicap and successfully survived as well!"

Scribble...Scribble...Scribble...

"I gave a warning to my little sister to not cause trouble in my first ever world that is my own, but being egoful as always, she not only messed but also killed my dear protagonist Arthur... Urgh... I can't stand little siblings. She needs to be punished. Yes, death would be a nice punishment."

Scribble...Scribble...Scribble...

"I numbed Asmodeus's thoughts and enhanced Aoto's reaction speed so that he can kidnap Dr. Magi! It was a necessary step so that my dear little sister can gain some information and take out some of her anger!"

Scribble...Scribble...Scribble...

"Dr. Magi can't speak anything about experiments, but I manipulated his mouth into saying the history of the world without his preparation. At least one needs to know about certain things before they die, don't they? So that there wouldn't be many regrets!"

The girl made of pure energy—Sylvania Yogsothoth—flipped the next page to write, but it was the end of the book.

Sylvania sighed and closed the book and threw it aside. "Well that's it for volume 1, but I should do something before writing volume 2," she thought while standing up.

With being god of space and time, there was no such thing as "travel time" to her.

She just moved a side step and the next second, the whole scenery changed. She was at a completely new place.

There was huge silence and pitch darkness—nothing as far as her eyes could see, except the giant shining door of rebirth and reincarnation. Being the god of life, as always.

The souls were going inside and outside as completely new souls.

But then, a huge crack appeared in the air as if reality itself was breaking, and then it was as if Sylvania was covered in a square box of void despite still being in the outside world.

Countless golden eyelash-less eyes appeared everywhere, blinking softly. It was a creepy yet majestic scene.

And then a heavy voice broke out, "Why did you come here?" the voice said.

Sylvania chuckled, "You already know it. You are the all-knowing. I came here to grant permission—permission to one chance where I can change the timeline if I want to!" she said her request.

Because going back in time and doing something in it doesn't necessarily change the future but actually changes someone else's future instead. But Sylvania, being god of time and space, could freely do it.

But that can sometimes cause bigger timelines to break or create a paradox, thus needed the permission of her eldest brother, the Creator, to do it.

The golden eyes blinked a few times as the heavy voice replied, "Permission denied!"

Sylvania's lips twitched a little, but she managed to hold back a grin. Her voice turned slightly teasing, almost mocking, as she spoke.

"Oh? Is that so? Then maybe I should tell the world your big secret."

She didn't give the glowing figure time to respond. She continued without pause, her tone playful but sharp.

"The secret that you were the one who told Asmodeus and Karl to kill the newborn twin true dragons."

She gently placed her palm over her mouth and let out a soft chuckle.

"You were the one who made the law that no one should kill a true dragon… but then you broke that same law yourself. I wonder what the world would think if they found out?"

The golden glowing eyes didn't blink. They didn't show a hint of surprise or fear. It was as if the being already knew everything Sylvania was going to say.

Then the deep voice echoed through the space.

"So what? Is there anyone out there who would dare to lay a hand on me?"

Sylvania chuckled again. She looked completely unafraid, even amused.

"Of course not. You're the mighty one, the all-powerful creator. No one can harm you. But your name—your reputation—will be ruined. All the respect you've earned will vanish. I can already imagine the outrage when people find out what you've done. It won't be pretty."

Her tone didn't waver. She wasn't scared at all. In fact, she spoke like someone who had nothing to lose.

She turned around with a scoff, ready to leave.

"Sure, you can just kill me right now and keep your secret buried forever… but doing that would make you look like a coward."

She took a few steps, trying to walk away like she was done with the conversation.

But then the glowing golden eyes blinked once.

"You would've already disappeared if you really wanted to leave," said the deep voice. "Walking doesn't suit you."

The eyes narrowed slightly, like the being was letting out a long, slow sigh.

"You're digging your own grave."

The heavy voice faded as the golden eyes slowly closed, as if the powerful being was going back into a deep sleep.

Then came the final words.

"Permission granted."

In the next moment, Sylvania appeared back in her mysterious library and sat down at her desk again. She picked up a new book and grabbed a feather pen, her fingers ready to write.

"There should be a title before I begin," she muttered, tapping the pen gently on the paper. "Hmm…"

She thought for a few seconds, then smiled as an idea came to her.

"Nowadays, it's popular to give stories long, flashy titles," she said with a nod. "Let's do that!"

She wrote the title carefully at the top of the first page:

"The End of Scarlett Nova — Scarlett (True Body) Vs Sylvania (Avatar Body)"

The moment she finished the title, her body glowed softly.
