But why would Elohim do anything to a girl who was of no use to him?

Given how Elohim had a deep hatred toward Esmeray, there was a chance that he might be doing this to find a way to kill her.
'But how would killing or enslaving Inës help Elohim?'
I rubbed my chin, looking at the girl who stood there awkwardly.
