"Apollo! Come here my love!" Valerica yelled and pulled me towards her. I was about to greet her before she placed her lips against mine, squishing my cheeks as she did so before pulling back and grabbing my arm hard.
"Ladies, this is my wonderful son I've been telling you about. Sentinel Apollo Hyllus-Lambdason."
"We know Valerica, this is the fifth time you have introduced us. Seriously, you might want to pace yourself with that stuff. I've seen it literally rip through one of us normal humans before... Also, hello again dear, how is your night going?"
I smiled at the nice elderly woman. "Hello again, Dot. My night is going well, thanks for asking. Have any of you beautiful ladies seen Kathrine or Hailey? I've been busy with the king and lost track of them."
The older ladies got a laugh at my shameless buttering up, but none complained.
