"Mmmh~ This is nice." Gabrielle said softly.
I looked down at her as we continued to slow dance, a smile creeping onto my face. "It is. I'm still just so relieved you are alive and well."
Gabrielle giggled at my words. 'The amount of times I've thought those words since you came back to me. You really are mine~'
She said nothing else. She was enjoying these next few hours to the fullest before she unveiled the truth to Apollo. To her son.
She had gathered enough confidence, built enough of a foundation for their relationship since their first meeting at the college. She was ready.
She was finally ready.
But not yet.... She still needed to dance with him, get him drunk. Flirt just a little bit to cross the boundaries she was setting up for his different reactions to the news. No matter what he did though, no matter how he took it. He would finally know that his mama loves him, that she made a mistake and would do anything, pay any price to fix it.
