"Hmmm." I vocalised as I looked down into the box of valuables. "I probably should have labelled these." I thought as I looked down at the two communication crystals in my possession.
One was purple with a slightly purple hue and the other was purple with a slightly purple hue... "Hmmm." I became indecisive for a moment before remembering that one had multiple numbers within and I just tell which is which with a simple investigation.
Picking up the crystal on the right. I suddenly realised, I had no idea how to activate it. It was nothing like phones from my past life. No convenient buttons or anything like that, but my clumsy appraisal did something and before I knew it, the thing began humming and chiming.

"Speak." A voice full of authority spoke through the communicator. I was familiar with the tone. It was not baseless authority. IT was authority that came with age and wisdom. This didn't affect me however.
