"Apollo Lambdason." Leanna addressed me after picking her jaw up off the floor at Hailey's emotional outburst. I turned around to the deputy head and replied. "Yes Mrs Dicaeus?" I replied formally, causing the woman to smile.
"I appreciate your respect for my authority Apollo, but teachers go by their first names here, just call me Leanna." She corrected me before continuing. "Now, I would like to apologise for the sudden 'ambush' upon your person regarding your new dispensation, I could understand why you displayed frantic behaviour in the few seconds you had to act."
'She could see that?' I thought to myself. My brain when in battle mode does go into maximum overdrive and thinks faster than my body can act, so I was surprised she could tell the nuance of what I was feeling. Good.
