Alexander's hand slid downward against the bare curve of her shoulder before slowly pushing the torn strap of her dress aside.
Eleanora's breath caught instantly.
The dim golden lights inside his penthouse bedroom softened everything around them. The city outside glowed far beneath the massive glass windows while the faint smell of smoke and rain still clung to both of them after tonight's chaos.
But Alexander looked entirely consumed now. Not angry anymore. Not controlled. Just overwhelmed.
His gaze dropped toward the exposed skin of her shoulder and collarbone before he lowered his head slowly. And kissed her there.
Eleanora's fingers tightened instantly against his shirt. The sensation sent heat rushing through her body so fast it genuinely startled her. Especially when Alexander's mouth lingered there for another dangerous second before his teeth grazed lightly against her skin.
